Hi lance yes I think a lot of it was erosion, a lot of them were built with mud and straw and gravel so over the years it washed it all down and filled it in , and wind blowing sand that helped to fill it in too , well that's what I think 🤔😁

Wow Andy! If the scenery doesn’t take your breath away the altitude will!🏔️⛰️ What an amazing road. Being as you replaced the chassis on that Defender, you literally know every nut and bolt on it. But you really must have trust in those brakes. Cheers my friend! Kim says Hi 👋!

Hey Andy, We went by Rail town 1897 on Saturday. The number 3 locomotive is still not back together. Looks like the boiler tubes are in but the firebox still has no bricks and the cab is still off. It’s coming along , but really slow. Also the bigger number 28 is not running due to its inspection running out. That will be another long process.☹️ Thought you would like to know.

hi lance , yes it's beautfull up there adam wanted me to clim that one too . my gearbox/ transfer still all good thanks , did i give you the number to the guy who did my transfer box ? he's about 3 hours away from you he can rebulid it for you , trip schedule is about on time ish , i should be shipping to australia some time in march ish i'm in no rush 😎😎

Here's the translation: Lime Kilns ⛏🧱 Inside the crater of the Pululahua volcano🌋 there was an economic activity that gave Quito many economic riches and an architectural legacy in colonial times.🏣 The extraction of lime was like white gold. 🏆Every day 20 to 40 sacks were taken out and carried up by mules to San Antonio - La Mitad del Mundo 🌎 - This high-priced material at the time was used to build many churches and houses that are now Ecuador's heritage. 🇪🇨 It was hard for us to get there because we walked and first passed through some hidden hot springs, but like every explorer, it filled us with great satisfaction to reach this ancient place.

Cheers Andy. Epic volcanoes 🌋! I just went and looked at a 93 Defender 110 in Monterey that is coming up on auction. Lots of visible bulkhead rust. It was a rare 1/100, U.S.spec vehicle that some dumbass had put a V8 in. Totally messing up its smog inspection status here in California. It was a hard pass. Still loving my Series2A. Thanks Lance, yes the NAS 110 are very expensive, come to think some had the V8 in 🤔 , but it's a can of worms if you don't weld .... The series 2 is better, no rust 😁

😂 hi at some points I could just see the end of the bonnet... The pipe is a home made bracket for the starlink is if I have to drive off in a hurry I don't destroy it by dragging it along behind me 🤔.

We’ve just visited Juno beach and watched this film inside. So glad to find it here to rewatch again. Such a wonderful tribute and felt truly grateful for the sacrifices the Canadian soldiers made. Anyone who ever has a chance to go to Juno, go. You won’t regret it

Thanks it was very moving film I wish I took my other camera in with a try pod , check out my other videos as I'm currently in Ecuador on a 5 year round the world trip, on another note I took some of the sand from Juno beach and took it to Calgary war museum and left it there.

That’s amazing!! We took some sand as well as stones to make our own Inukshuk. It was incredibly Canadian to see all the Inukshuks made right on the beach
