33:35 Lauren is a great Thorpe Park actor haha and she really kept in character with that German accent which was brilliant. She was also a great dancer for the Hyperia show as well as the Amity High Vs Lycanthorpe High show during Thorpe Park Fright Nights last year but yeh the entire Thorpe Park entertainment team are just brilliant people and really love and are great at what they do all day every day and always keep up the energy even though it must be really long and tiring days for them!

I am visit Thorpe Park Fright Nights for my first ever time this year and i cannot wait to see all the rides in the dark as well as the great shows and soak up the whole atmosphere. Im not a fan of scare mazes but i am doing the behind the scenes tour of Deadbeat and Trailers which i cannot wait for and it will great to ser the mazes still but without been scared haha

Nice vlog, yeah I share your view of Genie + / Lightning Lane - I don’t know the right answer but I imagine there could be a more equitable way to even out the queue times. It essentially becomes pay to win - richer guests have a better experience at the detriment of the folks in standard queue. There’s nothing to be done about the crowd levels, and the operations are fantastic at Disney, but I agree that the Genie + feels like a cash grab. That said when I go to Disney… it sure is temping to pay that extra bit and get on the attractions you want.

Looks like it could be nice. Chessy really needs that extra capacity so they can look at finally upgrading/rebuilding/ demolishing their older rides. Building this really gives the park leeway to close rides like Vampire, Tomb Blaster, & Gruffalo for extended periods or permanently without the massive capacity issues they would have currently.

This is very exciting news and i can't wait to follow this in the coming months!

The concern is that could this be merlin concentrating their effort on the 3 smaller southern parks to compete with universal and reducing the investment in alton towers which is bigger and cost more to run.

I was at Drayton on Saturday. Just a heads up, it was very busy. The Wave was on one train and ops were very slow. If you're lucky, the ride host may allow you to choose your own seat on Gold Rush.

Excellent Vlog. Towers should put more simular entertainment on all year round. You're right about the staff shortages, there are loads of vacancies on the Thorpe Park and Alton Towers website, but it's a problem a lot of theme parks are having.

Thank you for mentioning the coaster availability. It was awful and my son and his friend were stuck dangling toward the ground on Galactica for 20 minutes! The entertainment was phenomenal though 👏🏻😍🎤🍺🥨🌭

They sent the Drenched train to a company, then unfortunately that company went bust. Oakwood is currently looking for another company to take on the project and pick it up.

55:13 if you watch theme park worldwide's vlog then you can see they encountered alton bear with an oktoberfest costume on however there was no darwin the dodo

41:53 I'm actually not too upset that they're doing a day of the dead type maze since the statues either side of the building kinda look like something from day of the dead anyways, plus it's kindove nice they're going with something more light hearted considering the coloured barrels

Excellent vlog as always, we are currently stopping at Thorpe Park, and like Alton Towers they do seem to have problems getting rides open in the morning, however by 11 everything was open and they and the operations on every ride we went on (a we went on a lot) were excellent, especially on hyperia.
