I’ve heard this place isn’t known for the best ops. Agree that it looks lovely though 😍

Sadly it really wasn’t the best, and that’s disappointing to hear that potentially it’s a common thing. It really is a great location though.

You certainly left the best for the end there.... I saw your hair move😂😂😂 Looks like it's a 2 day park with the ops being so slow!! Great location as you said and altho Thunderhawk is an Infusion clone it looks very different. Glad you got your creds in and had your timbers well and truly shivered😊

😆 It was a windy day!! Quite possibly, the combination of bad ops, a short day and a load of school trips really meant it was a tight squeeze. Perhaps I just had bad luck 😐

I have been on almost every roller coaster except for Corkscrew and Shivering Timbers!!! I know that Woodstock Express used to be known as Little Dipper!!! I know there's one roller coaster that I will never go on again and that roller coaster is... Thunder Hawk, my mom made me and a friend of mine go on it with her... many, many years ago and the outcome is my face was beaten so bad that I had a sore face and my friend started throwing up everywhere... she was sick to the stomach because of it!!! I want to return back to the park someday, but I'm waiting for someone that I know and I'm going to ask if I could tag along with them!!! I did that with my cousin, her husband & their 2 little boys back in 2022!!!

Haha, that sounds pretty awful! Thunder Hawk is a clone of an SLC we have here in the UK at Blackpool Pleasure Beach called Infusion. That has the same effect on people unfortunately! Shivering Timbers was a great wooden coaster though, I really enjoyed it. Hopefully you get to experience it soon 👍🏻

Great Vlog Angel, despite the poor operations have you enjoyed your first visit to Michigans Adventure?

It was ok 😅 I’m glad I got the creds, I just hope the ops improve for the future. Thanks for watching my friend 👍🏻

@@_adventureplanet that’s good, I’m glad you got all 7 creds as well and let’s keep our fingers crossed 🤞🏻 that operations do improve. You’re welcome

I worked this day actually and you can see me driving the go cart outside at park close at the end of the video, but I do not operate rides. Operations tend to be slower early in the season as staff is being trained. Plus that day was a school day which packed on a busy crowd with new staff. Hopefully it speeds up later in the season. Unfortunately rides like Wildcat have only one train to use since crowds generally don’t justify purchasing a second train, which really slows that line down. Mad mouse is an old wild mouse coaster and it has sensitive sensors as far as I know. I believe, but don’t quote me on this, the slow operations on the ride is meant to not accidentally trip any sensors to reduce the odds of something being tripped and the ride has to shut down temporarily, but I am not sure. It’s unfortunate the rides do have some slow operations, but hopefully the company, since it’s been giving some other smaller cedar fair parks some love with coasters in Worlds of Fun and Dorney Park, maybe Michigan’s Adventure is soon to get some love and improved operations and rides!

Thanks for that info Piggleman, that’s good to know, and thanks so much for watching. I do hope things improve for the future as it’s a very picturesque park to walk around and would definitely be worth a revisit in that case 👍🏻
@piggleman50095 ай бұрын
@@_adventureplanet I agree! It’s my local park and the slow operations certainly aren’t excusable, but I am glad you overall enjoyed the rides that you were able to get on. And the park is indeed really beautiful!

Do you recommend getting the meal plan for $20 a person?
@_adventureplanet3 ай бұрын
Absolutely, it can certainly help save a few dollars if you are planning to eat a proper meal. The only reason I didn’t was due to filming and a lack of time so was eating very light.

Ouch, not a great park then? Also, how can they get away with having Cedar Points skyline on a MA jersey???
@_adventureplanet5 ай бұрын
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not the worst park I’ve visited, not by a long way. If the operations were better, it would go a long way to improving things. I’m not too sure, they are both owned by Cedar Fair but still seems very odd. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
