I always Been a big fan on antigrav racing games, f zero was cool but wipeout 2097 Had that edgy feeling to IT thnx to the weapons annoumcment voice and absolutne bangers playing im background.

It’s probably because you’re using a lcd or led tv, mabye that’s why it looks like that. I recommend a crt to make it look nice

Only thing about the Fusion's plasma bolt is the fact that it mostly insta-eliminates AI ships, but not player ships, there are some rumors about the plasma bolt being pressure-sensitive weapon, but it is not confirmed yet

This track was very difficult and I was pleased that the lines I took back in the day would seem to be the fastest. We are all one bump away from a restart on a time trial aren’t we? 😂 enjoyed the failed attempts almost as much as the perfect laps 🏆 thanks for the trip down memory lane buddy

Absolutely loved these videos. I did not know that the "Flamethrower" in Fusion was called the "Flamer" in Europe. I'm also jealous that you have a link cable for your PS1, lol. You also did a great job with you voice-overs. Keep up the good work.

Another thing about the Orbital Laser is that as expected from that type of platform, the weapon would fail if used undercover.

Totally forgot how cool the ships were in WipeOut Fusion. Sure wish we could get a new WipeOut, except have some ship customization options the next time. Redout 2 is great, still not as good as WipeOut imo.

In Fusion, the Proton Cannon's firing rate is affected by how hard you press the button, just like the Turbo. The PS2 Dualshock 2 had analog buttons. Can't wait for part 3.

@@Jellysem_06 That's actually a good video idea.. I do have a copy of the original WipEout HD downloaded on my PS3, without any updates installed, and there certainly are some differences with voice lines and even the menus.

@@idakev You're right.. it is sometimes difficult to find lobbies. There are certainly still some people playing though, I'm pretty sure EU lobbies are usually open during the evening (probably around 6pm to 11pm GMT)

@@coolie4795 Ok.. From what I understand, you have to go into Internet Connection Settings on your PS3, select your current network, and set a manual DNS. Make sure the Primary DNS is set to 145.239.30.230, and Secondary DNS is set to 1.1.1.1. You can then select 'Test Connection' after changing settings to see if you can connect. Hope this helps, but any questions then let me know

@@j.w.techchannel I'm also european and a bit confused now. I am talking about the legendary "C O N T E N D E R E L I M I N A T E D". In this video it says "Player eliminated". However, this is also your video and it sound exactly as I'm used to: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGGufZmalLCErck. I really feel quite certain that the announcement was the same when the player got eliminated. I'm not home otherwise I would've checked my game haha.
