I read that 50% Off Rei’s voice was a Patrick Bateman gag, but I was still completely unprepared for the sheer Rei Ryugazaki that came out of this man’s mouth when he opened it. Like, damn. I’ve never seen this movie so I never picked up on it lol

My name is Patrick Bateman. He sounds like he's going to do something terrible.🗿💀🗿😎

The whole scene with Jean in the apartment is so fucking sad. It's really the only scene you see Bateman completely disarmed and truly actually vulnerable.

This video really shows how both horribly threatning Patrick is and how horribly sensitive and bitchy and all around fruity he is. He really is pathetic.

Christian Bale played Patrick Bateman so well that before the shooting of the movie, Bale showed up to a lunch with the AUTHOR of the book Bret Easton Ellis AS Patrick Bateman. It creeped out Ellis so much that he had to asked Bale to stop playing Bateman as the character. Imagine playing a character so well that it CREEPED out the AUTHOR of THIS BOOK!

I love how he offers her sorbet to see if she wants to have some, then says no thanks when she offers some to him and he says “you can always be thinner”. A very subtle way he made her feel bad about herself
