2:54- there is a theory that Patrick may actually care to some extent, and that his psychopathic murderous rage is something he can't control. At the very end he speaks about the immense pain he feels, something he feels so much that he wants to inflict it on the world. But then again, what you said makes perfect sense. 4:49 is my favorite scene. as much of a shitshow as it is. he knows that courtney believes its dorcia, and for the most part thats all that matters. as long as someone thinks he been able to get a reservation at dorcia then he may as well have gone. it speaks perfectly to patricks priorities. the look of sheer joy and content is palpable in his smile alone.
