On debuffs, the only possible example I have to help out with this discussion is that I had an alliance member who was trying to kill a B15 with just under 1.8m cav, and he would take wounded. One time I sent my main monster hunter combo to his rally (Theo & Beowulf), which has very high monster defense debuff, and he was able to kill it with no wounded. So we tested again without my main combo, he took wounded again, I sent my main combo one more time and he took no wounded. I only sent 1 T1 mounted troop to the rallies. This was in the last month or so, I think it might be taking the best debuff on monster rallies now, I'm not sure I would be able to test pvp rallies at this time, but could try in the future.

From testing that I have done, a scout will tell you one thing, but do an attack and you’ll see some of the defending/reinforing buffs change as then the troops are actually engaged. This is where I have seen ‘marching attack’ buffs apply in an alliance city for example - I don’t know if it will apply in a keep. In a scout you may not see a difference; but attack it and you’ll might. If I am attacked without rein, by siege, and then again with siege rein (some siege HP debuff on weapon or Pallas), my siege HP debuff will increase with the rein

I appreciate what you do. There is one test I’d like to see with a speed book. A mounted speed book on a defense vs a siege attack. Because horses attack siege before ground troops do, I’d like to see if the siege wounded goes down IF the t1 wall gets to the siege any earlier due to the mounted speed book. In this same vein, if that were the case, a ground speed book on a defense would lower mounted wounded vs an archer attack if there aren’t enough siege or range in the keep to do the job. They are expensive tests that I don’t have the ability to create in a controlled environment unfortunately.

ive noticed that with this single troop attack. this is also effected by monarch gear. so will your effective damage go up using the regular gear since it gives you that base stat, vs using the new attacking gear that only gives you percentages

Hey can you do an in depth on sub cites. I feel they are overlooked and mainly regarded as debuff and thats all. When taking a sub with 0 gen there are no buffs but when taking a sub with gen they have buffs. Does your gen buff attribute to your sub and would flats affect the low tier troops in your subs at all. The power applies the specialties apply. It would be greyed out if it wasnt. So what really applies to a sub and what doesn't. Mind testing that. Would not leveling subs be better for low tier or level subs for higher tiers. Subs play in def. Do they force enemies to take turns. Ive been winning with ghosted troops and traps. So im wondering whats going on under the hood.

I'm curious. Why did the spiritual beast go on Ragnar as an assistant. Doesn't it cancel out? Or does it still boost Range and Siege HP since Ragnar is bringing spiritual beast?

Thanks Derrick. I need to watch this again and take notes, but I get the basics. One thing I’m not sure about is layers. You never really explained why layers are bad. As I’ve grown, I’ve accumulated traps of every level, but I only replace the highest level ones I can build, so the lower levels are all too small in number to activate, but they’re still there. Does that mean there will be turns where no traps activate? Should I dismiss everything below Level 7?

Good to tell people the refining trick on the civ armor for advanced refines. I dipped after an hour. I also wouldn’t consider any old general, go with 2 new ones with covenants for main and assistant. Use the blood on senate and subs

I can tell for sure that for monsters the biggest debuff counts. PVP have always had a bit different mechanics but for for what Ive seen it takes the biggest debuff for every category. Would be nice if you can do some extended testing to figure out if this is an isolated case/glitch or have more variables to this equation as troop type, debuff source and so on

Can you suggest which secondary general to use in general for seige /mountain buffs..( My thought s- ...I am waiting to get William marshall or richard the lion heart as Leo is not compatible with jadwiga).. Also,. I have 70M t1 Mounts.. taking it to aboe 100M... and getting more seige layers... What flat refines should i go for in my gear.. Mounts or seige... in my scenario.. T13s work just fine until the 1b barbs...then do the same method using t14s....and yes,march size has alot to do with it...i am a k40 with a 3.3m march size for range...range buffs are jjst under 2700 and i get average 5k wounds per castle...now if yoy have to rally to defeat the 1b barb..1 player sends range and the other player sends siege...wounds will be under 100 troops for each player....depending on buffs and march size

People who get banned after spending $2m is _exactly_ how it should be! Currently, big players in alliance get to do a lot of stuff without being kicked from the Alliance because the R5 thinks the Alliance needs them. Being big or spending a lot shouldn't be the criteria to keeping a player.
