Are these good for using instead of stones to retain moisture for plants? For when using pebbles baths to give plants moisture, etc. Also can you just place them in top on soil to retain more moisture for indoor plants?

That's a lie. There is no shortage of peat moss. We have thousands of years left. And it only takes 4 years to make it. The healthiest plants I've grown in straight peat. The resistance to water is why I use it. A lot of air to roots. Literally, everything you have said is false information.

So much safety. Amazing. Can you make it towable by a trailer? Like a shipping container or something. Where all you have to do is hook up to shore power, fresh water, effluent - then rock.

But I was watching a video on one of the rockets 🚀 getting over heated and thought maybe there might be a way to make into a heat shield of some kind. Thanks for listening.

Mate I've been market gardening all my life. I was born on a market garden. When someone claims you can grow 2.5 acres in a container I just let them be happy in their ignorance. I flip lettuce beds every 30 days. 30 days in the nursery 30 days in the bed. Losses maybe 3 to 4 lettuces. Secondly my customers won't go anywhere near industrial food production.

What are the healthy fertilizer ratios for one liter of water? How many teaspoons of fertilizer should I take? When I mix the fertilizer with water, is there a healthy ratio for fertilizing one pot, for example a 20 cm pot with a depth of 20 cm? Do I immerse it in the solution or take a certain percentage of the solution, for example a quarter cup for the 20 cm pot? Knowing that I plant at home and will fertilize the vegetables that I will eat. Thank you very much.

This video did not age well. No one should be concerned about peat moss. We are producing far more than we are selling. Supply can infinitely keep up with demand.

English isn't my first language, but as I understand it, you're answering the following question: can a container produce as much as a traditional lettuce-growing Acre? The answer is obviously no. Wouldn't the better question be: - If we fill 1 acre of farmland with hydroponic container, would it be more efficient and profitable than growing traditional crops on that land? Crops grown in hydroponic containers are not subject to the same constraints as traditional cultivation. Weather and sanitary factors (pesticides) don't apply to a container. Unused water can be recycled. Unlike traditional cultivation, the energy issue can be addressed with solar panels. The only constraint is nutrients. Then there's the fact that agricultural investment is above all a generational investment, and it's generally only the second or third generation that makes the farm profitable, at least in France. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Then, if we follow your calculations, 15 containers will produce approximately 105% of the production of one ACRE. It's incredible that 15 containers, which when placed on a one-acre lot will occupy only 11% of its space, can produce that much, or even more.

a couple of questions: - do you install the cooling pad right next to the entry vents? - can you rig the system to send the water to naturally circulate back up to the top? or does it need to be manually cycled? - i live in atlanta, georgia - humid climate, but i still hear these walls can cool your air by around 10 deg F. are there other methods you would recommend for more humid climates in the summer?

I don't think refined nutrients are better than nutrients that exist in natural compound form. I believe produce that is grown with refined nutrients looks good but it is lacking something in comparison with natural organic produce.
