I have a small 10x12 how msny fans or exhaust fo u think i need? Im new to this snd probably why i got green growing on soil lol I have misting system but not sure how often or time day that should be. I hafe heater thats waterproof for winter. Do fans also waterproof or exhaust? One mire question i cant keep out spider mites on my peach ive tried everything nematodes lady bugs nothing stays lol ive been at a loss

1:49 when you say half point towards the front and half pointing towards the back, if the green house is rectangular are you meaning facing them so they go long ways along the length of it? Also in a hot climate in summer, would you run the circulation fans at the same time as extraction fans? Thanks for a great video, best I have seen so far on this topic

Thank you. With a rectangular greenhouse, we’d recommend facing them along the length of the greenhouse. This way, the air would loop around 360° degrees. This allows cold and warm air pockets to mix, which leads to uniform temperature in the plant canopy. In the summer, we would recommend only running the extraction fans. This way, you are guaranteed to ventilate all of your humidity in a single direction within the greenhouse.

How many circulating fan needed in 1 acre of fan pad polyhouse in climate like india where temperature reaches around 45 degree celsius?? And how to place them in polyhouse for maximum air flow or circulation?? For vertical set or grow bags or dutch bucket system...... Thanks in advance

Thanks for your question. We typically suggest a CFM of recirculating fans to be twice the floor area in square feet. You would be looking for total of around 90,000 CFM for this type of an area split between fans that are no farther than 40 feet apart. In an environment like India I would also suggest evaporative cooling systems or shading to reduce temps as much as possible.

How do crops grown in large green houses get pollinated???

by hand or with a brush, but most plants grown in greenhouses, like tomatoes, are self-pollinating.

@@ashbakke33569 Thank you. I would think it would take a lot of work to hand pollinate vegetables in a large green house. I was thinking that maybe the air flow may help in the pollination inside a green houses?

Great video. I have a new greenhouse, 34x100. I’m having an issue with low humidity. The greenhouse is exhausting the air to cool, but it’s still very dry outside here in Michigan. Today it was reading 20%humidity inside with 80F. Any good (cheaper) ways to humidify a greenhouse? Netafim foggers? Cheers
