I hope you're right about lightning spear. The FORB version was something (weirdly) I didn't think of. Definitely gonna use Fireball to level. Great video. Looking forward to seeing your builds.

glad to hear it. yeah people got used to perma cast and forgot you can literally just cast frozen orb to make them and reduce its cooldown with double cast frozen orb tempers

Question: When you were last able to test/play around with lightning spear, did the game build you were playing contain ALL the nerfs or just some of them? I know we have a couple different patch note links and curious if both were applied during your testing. Thanks for the overview!

the game build contained all the nerfs from what I could tell. I could never get more than 26 conj, the spear temper was nuked, and my lightning spear was definitely not proccing that often then exploding for large amounts due to the 0.2 internal cooldown. In the runs I did I made it to a Pit85 which took 7 minutes. I was dealing half the damage I should have been dealing because my amulet only had 4 ranks to conj mastery when I could of had 10. And i wasn't running a damage chest. there was much more juice to be squeezed

Glad to hear LS/ FO is still on the table. What do you think about the double dmg on flamescar for incenerate on endgame ?

idk, i think its still just better to run a staff. the staff can get the double dmg temper too so I don't get why they think flamescar would be better? idk its an option sort of because of the ranks

I never got into Forb till S5 and saw your build. I played your build more than i did with my Pure LS even if it harder. Your build slapped. Forb was just really more game engaging and enjoyable.

Week into the season, what are your thoughts in hindsight? I love sorc but the disparity between it and spirit born is depressing. The nerfs feel unnecessarily punitive now.

Any of the burning builds are good to level. Then I recommend frozen orb Jon snow or fireball

I dont get it. People have been testing the game for weeks. How is everybody unsure if the frost build is viable? Did people forgot to test it or am i missing something.

What frost build? Are you talking about Azurewrath and frostburns? They are bugged and we don’t know if the bugged unsquished values will make it to live. They should read 1500 base but they say 6500. Before Ga and masterworks. Lightning spear was totally fine

uh, if you don't understand the many layers of nerfs that has occurred to sorcs, and how those changes affect litspear builds over all, you should listen to mekuna more, he goes into detail at a deep mechanics level and he is correct on every point

I am literally playing the build in the VoH review build. it's fine lol. It's just not fine for mekuna because he only plays the best build each season, so it's dead to him. for the average player the build will perform in torment 4 and its totally fine. I literally played it for a week straight lol. the build as you know it is dead, but as a hybrid it's alive and fine. it still chunks for 30-50 million it was fine lol. if a build cant giga nuke all content in half a second mekuna won't play it lol

Sorry, I prefer to prepare my D3 S32 SSF Wiz Firebird Explosive Blast Leaderboard Push and keep waiting for D3 S33 SSF. It was a hug personal fail to invest 34,99 € into D4s base game in S4. The sorc fireball build is quite ok, but that's everything. no motivation at all to start a D4 season or buy VoH. for what? The D3 Firebird Set gave me unlimited ports. Everything is better in D3. Perhaps D4 needs 1 year more time to be more D3.
