If only that Council of yours could see what you have to do to bring it to code.....that person who sold you that property should be ashamed!! I am sure all your You Tube friends would like to know what is the purpose of the attachment near garage door? When they replaced my windows on my house, they took the glass out of the old windows, cut the vertical side members of the window's metal frame, and collapsed the frame inward. The old windows came right out of the opening with no damage to the house.

There is so much stress & heartache showing through that I'm sure you don't even realize. I know this is an older video & now there is finally starting to be light at the end of the tunnel. Doing what you have to do but not what you want to do makes life so much harder. Trudging through to get things done just bc you have to. You deserve to be happy. I pray one day soon all the negative energy from the property stresses are gone & you are completely financially recovered...moved on & living your best life.

Dang that was hard to watch, should have been able to pull the panes out and Sawzall or angle grind the frame pulling it out in pieces then frame in the hole. Hope you get some good views out of this. Props to you though for tackling everything yourself.

That hurt to watch. Would have thought you would at least look at some window install videos. Then you would have an idea of how to remove them in reverse order. There is a flange nailed to either the sheathing (if it has any) or directly to studs.

They built the wall there as a retaining wall. You got a cliff behind it. You probably could've gotten under that end with a chisel to separate the corners

I like the daily Vlogs with the family life and the work on your bus, or work on your house. But I'm curious- did you ever go back up to the back of the property and how off all of those piles of trash? Back when you got the first letters from the city and you were forced to tear down all those parts of the three buildings you seemed to have put the hauling of all of trash from the top of the hill on hold. Or did I miss that project in a video somewhere?

I would have used a sawzaw too...however, I have not been through this nightmare. If I had been through all these crazy code issues I probably would be so hyerfocused to get it just so in order for no more problems that I would over think what needed to be done! Great job Isaac! Good progress. I am surprised that the past owner didn’t wrap the house with tyvex before he put the siding on. Helps with insulation and weather proofing
