Happy new year to both of you. I hope you both get to feeling better very soon. I love these videos of your house and the progress you’re making. You both are amazing and you will be so proud of yourselves when you’re finished. My husband built our house, every stick of it, all by himself. It took eight years, but we love it here and are so proud of what we did. I should say what he did because I was not a very much help.

I finally had time to watch this episode😊. I’m so honoured you got to my question and I loved hearing you agree on your answer. For me too, communication is key and hiking helps. Talking while walking is so good sometimes. I feel for you lacking the hot water. 😢My little house often feels chilly and a hot shower is such a luxury. But I do not have a wood burning stove - I’m sure that will be so cozy! Yes please to all the tours! 🎉 Love to you both 😊

Amazing work! You will need lighting for that hall/stairway when you close the walls there will be no light. Maybe sconces on the wall or an overhead chandelier, or whatever And a light for the coat/shoe closet 🌷 exciting to see it all coming together!

What an interesting process to watch! I’m so glad you had help with this - what an enormous undertaking! I recently moved into a 60 year old house which (obviously) already has plumbing and electricity, but 3 weeks after my move, the basement flooded. I also have had to put in a French drain pipe system in the yard to take the water away from the house. I was so impressed that 2 guys and one machine did it all in 2 days! Very happy for you to slowly get more creature comforts in place before winter. ❤
