Thank you all for sharing. COVID and the incarcerated population, is certainly a topic that has surfaced. The CDC is first and foremost resource, as you already know. The good news, at this point, is that the army national guard is or currently, at local public health departments.

I did 6 1/2 years of Ad/Seg. Think I got to CSP in 2010. Finally got out because of the reforms in 2013. Started in Sterling in 2007. I witnessed guards routinely abuse mentally ill inmates. I've seen guards who were so abusive they abused other guards. Especially guards who spoke up about the abuse that they witnessed on their shift. Never once in all the videos I've seen does anyone talk about the cruelty inflicted on inmates for sport.

There was a Documentary where a german prison ward said: "If you treat them like your eney, they will behave like your enemy". That pretty much sums it up.

I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and have been scammed with a fraudulent mechanics lien that is clouding my title so that I can not sell my home. The Cook County Circuit Court judge has allowed my case to be tied up so far over 4 years. He is protecting the scammer even though the City of Chicago NEVER issued him permits and the scammer is unlicensed.

TY, I totally agree. I just recently learned this terminology from Reading & Researching. I never knew the terms before, but have done much volunteer work doing these types of things. Yes, CBPR is very effective & similar to the socioecological approach & logic model, which I really like & appreciate. But Definitely 😁 produces real time results & effective continuous evaluation & course corrections are easier influenced & changes can impact social changes & Definitely allow for community leverage by training community members skills to lead & mentor, so they can reach their own peers & definitely more effective in reaching more people than just academic research. That is awesome that the youth were empowered to feel like they have a voice, can work together & display their leadership skills & use their strengths & use their past experiences & traumas to work together towards policy changes & solutions. That's what it's all about. Collaborative efforts, Everyone uses their strengths to help make realistic goals & work towards consistent progress & change & build long-term supportive relationships. Healthy built communities are MADE through proper strategies. -Dr. Kimberly Brodie One day, one action, & consistency over time. Yeah Yeah Yeah E YEAH 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶 Thanks for sharing real life experiences of how this works. Namaste Peace Shalom

It's the criminals that bring toxicity to the prisons. German criminals are pretty mild. Germany doesn't have to deal with MS-13 or other hyper violent druggies.

It's so much around human dignity because one of the first laws in germany is "The honor of humans is not to be harmed" I think. This is only a maybe so.. yeh, some know better than me probably but this is my theory on why that is

One of the extensive discussions, as it relates to the prison populations, on mental health, is whether the therapist or mental health professional should be state sponsored. A doctor remains, a defense to those that are incarcerated.

And they never seem to mention CSP2 that was shut down by the FEDS before it was full and open... Crazy Prison state. The resort and ski and snowboard industries were replaced by state prisons a long time ago. The state has nearly 30 state prisons (not including Florence Federal's several facilities). It's disgusting. A sick system, so sick the feds had to come tell you to let people out of Ad-seg and quit using it for the mentally ill. Oh yeah and then there's Tom Clemens and Evan Ebel...
@perfekteli5381 Жыл бұрын
For us, everything is primarily based on the Grundgesetz (Constitution). And that's what it says in the first paragraph: "Human dignity is inviolable". That's why the German government is finding it so difficult to reach a good consensus for its refugee and immigration law. Because everything is measured against this first principle and therefore also in the penal system.

Crook County is a understatement, throw every prosecutor, Judge, Clerk, bailiff, and everyone in the court system in prison, there's not a honest one among the bunch.
