Herbie Reed, il più grande basso della musica pop di tutti i tempi. Grandissime è ben fuse tutte le altre vocalità, The Platters, unici, irripetibili ed ineguagliabili. Grandissimi.

69 years old and we lived in the "sweet spot" of history. After the Depression and WWII when being a woman was definable and communism was something we shunned, instead of having 81M voters choosing it.

I got to be a gate guard at Roy and Dale's ranch at Apple Valley when they had their grand opening back 1967. I never got to see them, but I did get to see Milburn Stone and Ken Curtis who cleaned up so nice I hardly recognized them from their Gun Smoke characters.

Im 68 I remember this so well as a kid. What a great song, great people and what a great era to live. A man was a man a woman was a woman and people were sane for the most part. There was sanity in the world and black was black white was white. How I miss those days! Only heaven can be better.
