Hi, thank you very much for your tutorial! I have one question about the sleeve. On 41:55 you explain how to make a decrease but probably there is a little mistake in there, you say "k 1-6, 7 k2t" until you have 48 stitches left. But we started with 48 stitches. So for how many rows we need to k2t? How many stitches should be left before starting on ribbing? Thank you :)

Hello! Could you explain how to do this but with horizontal stripes? (e.g. a single stripe near the hem/end of sleeves/around the collar)
@rebeccamooremusic2 ай бұрын
Hi! Thanks for this but how do you secure it when you’re starting off? Thanks
@Arly_knitsАй бұрын
You can either tie it into the neckline from the back (wrong side) or do a long tail method and work one piece of yarn at a time then tie them together at the bottom. I hope that makes sense 🥰🧶

I apologize upfront for this question. But what’s considered 1 row? Going forward one row, or going forward then backwards considered 1 row? 😅 I’m so new with this and I’m very unsure and I’m also not sure if you mentioned it in the video and I missed when you did mention it.? Pls help. Thanks in advance ! ❤ love all of your work. Very beautiful and easy to understand
@Arly_knits9 ай бұрын
Hi sweetie! Please don’t apologise!!! There are lots of working part to learn and if you don’t ask you don’t know 🥰 so the white tooth is the beginning of the row and as you come back to it- you start a new row- does that make sense? ❤️🧶

Makes complete sense ! Thanks so much for taking the time to explain this to me! I appreciate it so much! ❤

@Arly_knits11 ай бұрын
Hi sweetie!! I normally design a bunch of stuff and quickly do a video tutorial while I’m on it and then come back later and add step by step instructions written in the description of the video. I’ve not yet gotten to that but I certainly will! If you want to go now so long I’d advise you look for the tutorial “how to cable knit for beginners” perhaps even start with “how to do a broken rib knit” - watch those two- they have written patterns in the description, and when you are done there this one will make a bit more sense in terms of execution 🥰♥️🥰

I don’t think your yarn tensioner is fitted properly; it’s not supposed to be facing downwards but straight out. It might be why you have damaged it. But on a positive : I love the jumper, nice style and colour. Thank you for the tutorial 🌹❣️

Hello, can you help me how many eyes do you make the neck?☺️
@Arly_knits Жыл бұрын
Hello! Did you mean rows? I would say 10 to 15, and then I cast off with an elasticated thread. If you meand stitches, I just picked up all the stitches around the neck - I think that was a total of 70 stitches or maybe 65, around there 😀
@lindsaylulu7830 Жыл бұрын
I just received my Sentro. I noticed that the 'problem' with the counter disappears once you crank in the direction it was meant to count! Works fine that way.
@Arly_knits Жыл бұрын
Yes! It seems to SOMETIMES work if I'm in circular mode but not always. I think that my particular machine may actually be particularly defective 😅

Great tutorial! Thank you. I want to try this vest, but can you please tell me, what is the size? Thank you
@Arly_knits Жыл бұрын
This particular one is a small :) so I'd say add an axtra 10 stitches to go up to a medium and 20 to go up to a large. In all the measurements 🧶
@Kanasta7 Жыл бұрын
@@Arly_knits Thank you very much!

@Arly_knits Жыл бұрын
The jersey I made in this tutorial is a large or XL and you can make it smaller by casting on less stitches or if you want it to be bigger you can add a centre panel (so 3 panels instead of 2) ❤️🧶
@chainmail_snail Жыл бұрын
Hi, I absolutely love this tutorial and am currently trying to make a jumper using this method. What circular knitting needles do you use for the ribbing? Also, would you recommend using knitting needles that result in a smaller tension than the knitting machine panels like in some ways of making ribbing?
@Arly_knits Жыл бұрын
Hi sweetie! Thank you for this wonderful feedback ❤️ the needle size I used for the borders (neck, waist and cuffs) was a US size 2. Long cord for the waist and a short cord for the cuffs and neck, and then I casted all of them off using an elasticated thread for extra elasticity. So to answer your question, a much smaller needle size to tighten the tension and stitch size 💕 at a guess I'd say the sentro produces a stich size that a US 5-6 needle would produce 😉
