Poor fella won't break 150 swinging like that. This force plate stuff being taught now has absolutely nothing to do with trying to help an amateur hit a golf ball. Unless he scoring himself on golf course by writing down his avg mph on each hole than his amount of shots? Bet he might be able to dunk thou if he sticks at it.

Highly recommend everyone take at least 1 lesson. Probably all you need unless you are god awful. All most of us need with some type of athleticism to get that “ah ha” moment

When I figured out how to use your hips right and it feeing almost like a “jump” that doesn’t lift off the ground it really really helped my driver distance and keeping it straight - I remember in highschool trying to really rotate those hips like Fowler back in the day and it just didn’t work, now that I’m grown it makes a hell of a lot of sense

You can get great power doing this way but your head moves up and down a lot which can lead to inconsistency like Tiger Woods when he began to dip down and get stuck. He swung the best when he stayed tall like in 2000

That can vary a lot from player to player. In most cases I see, yes it’s needed. Some people doing it well subconsciously, others do not

Hard to have a consistent golf swing when timing is in play this much… definitely comes down to repetition

Chunking seems to come in when I’m 180 out trying to hit my 5 iron to the green.. trying to kill the ball like it’s my driver lol 🫤 never works out

Mine is.. if you stand with your left foot forwards.. during my back swing keeping my left arm straight and during impact and follow through keeping my right arm straight. Ever since I started to think about that I hit it ten times better. Along with other things like correct ball placement and a slight shaft lean at address
