seeing curves makes me happy, best approach to define a natural distribution density for proc gen.

hey mate - i'm a bit confused. after watching this - i headed over to erwin's masterclass series on youtube - and i saw nothing related to either road design or river design. just seems to be about a procedural building. can you clarify?

Hi EarlyGamer and xBeaver Gaming. Yes, you could use that in Unity as well. You could visit christianmarzy.com/ to learn more about my services and get in touch with me =)

@@ChristianMarzy Can't you sell HDA? I know how difficult it is. Probably, any price won't be enough reward for the maker.But as always, indie developers don't have enough money.

Wow! Edit: Just looked at your portfolio and it is quite impressive. I am starting my journey to learn Houdini because I realize how powerful its procedural tools are for creating landscapes, among other things. Houdini might have a steep learning curve, but I am convinced it's a better value than standalone tools such as World Creator, World Machine, Gaea, etc. What are some free/paid resources you would recommend for learning this?

Is the streaky water erosion simulated or is it some sort of noise generation/heightmap texture?
@ChristianMarzy3 жыл бұрын
Hi Obyvvatel, the streaky water erosion can be either simulated over time or calculated with Houdini's new flowmap node.
@basiccoder21663 жыл бұрын
Damn son, how did you do that!!!???
@lifeartstudios62073 жыл бұрын
if only houdini assets could be modified in realtime. I have a voxel plugin I'll probably be using instead, let's hope I can get the same great stuff you have hear with that.

thank you for this amazing series. i have learned much! is there a reason why you chose to render in unreal engine instead of houdinii?
@ChristianMarzy3 жыл бұрын
Hey Fantersam, I'm happy you liked it. Coming from the games industry, I have a preference for real time rendering and love how the immediate visual feedback encourages me to explore and be creative.

Amazing work. The feel you get walking through these without a map or a compass and trying to find something is exactly what I imagined it would be like if I was walking there 2500 years ago. Well done on capturing the atmosphere so vividly. I run this game on -5 color saturation compared to other AC releases though. The art style in line with Leo von Klenze's neo classic paintings of ancient Greece were the perfect art style to go with. A tad too saturated for some parts of the game though. But still, wonderful work.
