Thanks! I always forget how to do this since I don't do it that often. I also like to completely derust and clean then paint the caliper, bracket and inside of the piston when I do this but it's pretty labor-intensive and not truly necessary. But it keeps things clean and prevents rust and future seizing.

Japan doesn't have any iron mines. They use rusted scrap metal, melted down and heavily treat it with chemicals. The metal is not pure. Germany has a natural high carbon content in their iron, the best in the world. They don't rust out like this in 5 years. More like 30 years. Boycotte and never buy a Japanese car. Avoid Korean cars too. They know nothing about manufacturing and produce junk off the line.

Ну если сам в гараже делал, то наверно не плохо, но для мастерской это ужасно. Отверстие можно было заделать резиновой пробкой, а не шпаклей, шев сварной по хорошему нужен сплошной и счистить его надо было в идеал чтобы не наваливать шпаклевки. Хозяину авто хочется пожелать мыть машину чаще, судя по загрязнениям она мойку не видела несколько лет, от чего все проблемы.
