How to Fix Wrong Steering Wheel Angle (Bad Cable) | BMW E9X

In this video we'll show you how we finally solved the steering wheel angle problem on 2004 BMW E90 330i. In our case, the problem was a damaged cable, which we removed and soldered as best as possible, we plan to replace it in the future, this was only a temporary solution. If you also have this problem, we advise you to check all the wires and connectors that are connected to the power steering, because it often happens that all the wires that are connected to the bottom of the car are oxidized or have lose contact. In this model, there is a common problem with the connectors, especially since the car is quite old.

I was parallel parking last night and heard a snap and zip like a tape measure going back in, no bmw sound or warning cus it was already on from something else and I have my dead idrive out. Id already changed it before though so this is disappointing

@@thomaslejeau2323 It should be on driver side only. Identify where the direction sensor is, you may start from this point.
