People say he nicked jokes from Bernard Manning, but although Bernard was very funny, personally I thought Mike Reid's delivery was better. He put some huge effort into each joke. Brilliant.

Mike Reed for me was a living legend. He would and still can make me laugh like theres no 2 morrow, even at my sadest moments. I am glad I saw these golden age comedians and myself come from an era where things made sense. RIP Mike u were the best and for me u never went away in the first place❤❤❤❤❤❤

back in the day.. i remember this one. i was only 15.. glad our group knew the bouncers . .and we even got in the VIP way ( didn't queue, we got in via the back, up the ramp to the roof ..where we could see the queue going round past the Mint, down the stairs and in with no ticket :)

All the greats are gone now, well, with the exception of Stan Boardman, Chubby Brown, Billy Pierce, Jim Davidson, Jimmy Cricket, Mick Millar . Real comics who are naturally funny and don't give a flying fuck about PC or being educational. They just entertain!!

Just watched this and the guy at 1st is clueless yes i understand there was and prob still is tools about and it will always be cat n mouse but when he said each win takes a certain amount of power i was like is this guy on drugs! the funniest shit i have ever heard LOL turning it off and back on gives it FULL POWER and it thinks oooo i can pay a few quid out!

Oh, they released it in the US as a recut/redub. That explains why I remembered watching it as a kid but didn't recognize most of the og British voices.
