Have you compared the battery form factor with EGO? I was looking to see how close it is and if its possible to modify the EGO to use the EnHulk
@fixitFlipКүн бұрын
They are very similar but they do not connect. I actually tried. They are slightly different how the battery attaches.
@cameranmanner4701Күн бұрын
@@fixitFlip that's promising there may be a way to retrofit these batteries. My fear is these new companies trap you into a battery platform and they quickly fold leaving you with a 300$ anchor when the battery fails.

I seriously can't thank you enough for posting this! I have the exact same faucet and it was super stiff. I knew the posts under the handles had to turn, but was afraid I'd do it wrong and break them. I actually used silicon spray for under the handle and inside to lubricate and protect against corrosion.

I just went through all this and when I went to put the deck back on, it ended up with one end being further back than the other. To where the levers that attach to the deck to lift it up and down only matched on one side. I don't know if attaching the idle spring first made it pull to one side more causing the deck to be slightly diagonal, but it started pouring rain and I had to detach everything and will have to try again tomorrow.

Hi, what about cleaning out the discharge tube, any advise on how to blow the slime and 'stuff' out of the discharge tube so it does not clog up?
@fixitFlip4 күн бұрын
Honestly, I just run vinegar through it and when it gets too crusty, I replace it. I replaced mine with this one. amzn.to/2TEW0pO
@bingandyogi3 күн бұрын
@@fixitFlip trying to avoid that, the tube runs about 25 to 30 feet and goes up to the ceiling (9/10 feet high) and then the length of the basement and down the wall and outside. it is zip tied all along the way to the furnace wiring and tubing. Was hoping for a gizmo that I can attach a leaf blower to and blow the 'stuff' out. Thanks for your time.

@fixitFlip5 күн бұрын
Ha ha, gotta get creative sometimes. Thank u. 👍🏻
@temporary32395 күн бұрын
Very useful. The added weight is a very real concern for older people, and likely women who have to handle the added weight in awkward yards. Everything is a compromise. I think they went to heavy alimuinum deck to handle the 30% additional torque, and dissipate the added heat from the motor without venting that gets glogged in their other models. I would like your insight on how to deal with the weight.
@fixitFlip5 күн бұрын
Aluminum is a very, very light metal compared to steel. I think it was a way to go more heavy duty, but not be super heavy. And it still won’t rust. To counter the weight I would use the self propel as much as possible but release the touch drive button while turning.

@@ReidWarren-ic5rv Comment as much as you want. The more the merrier! Mine is running well. I just changed out the blades. I did a video on that. Check that out on my channel if you haven't already and let me know what you think!
@draghonblademorrow9466 күн бұрын
I also have the Cub Cadet XT1 LT46 (but with manual choke, and no hours run meter like yours has) and have learned a great deal from watching your channel. Getting vibration when blades are engaged, so I'm guessing the blades are out of balance (came on the mower and have maybe 3 hours cutting time; factory edge is like a butter knife). I noticed when you replaced the blades you didn't sharpen or balance them. Are you getting any vibration from the new blades? I just ordered the torque wrench you linked in the video and it should be here next weekend, along with a Dewalt 15/16" socket (Amazon didn't have the Husky brand you use). As an aside, don't feel bad about running over a pry bar you didn't see. I accidently ran over a water meter cover with the Husqvarna I used to have and bent one of the blades at a 90 degree downward angle midway length of the blade. Stopped the mower dead in its tracks. Replaced all 3 while I was at it, and fortunately didn't warp the shaft.
@fixitFlip5 күн бұрын
Oh, wow! That's a serious impact to bend a blade 90 degrees. Glad it didn't cause more damage. I heard the brand new ones are coming without the hour meter. That's a disappointing shortcut if you ask me by the company. But I didn't know the choke was different on the new ones. I am not getting any vibration from new blades, but I will check sharpness in a month or so. Going to be posting a video about sharpening in the next few days!
@KingslayerX6 күн бұрын
Must be nice to have a blade bolt put on with 10 lbs of pressure. Getting a factory air gun bolt loosened is impossible.
@fixitFlip5 күн бұрын
Definitely not impossible. And I tighten all my blades down to the correct torque, not 10 lbs. Try a breaker bar, extension pipe, or an impact wrench.
