Help, when I open a new project, there is no option to choose 2D. There is no "top menu" on my view to choose preferences from.

Thank you for this fantastic tutorial! I'm trying to use 2D furniture symbols from your helpful starter pack library, but I'm unclear on how to separate them from one another. (When I import, the whole set of symbols appears in my Sketchup file.) Thanks for any help you can give me!

Hi mate, New to this whole thing. Great video btw. However I am not being able to key in any measurements. It’s say upgrade now on the top. Do we need to have upgrade for this to work?

So, SketchUp doesn't provide realistic enough materials? That's disappointing, because then the changes I have to do in the rendering app (e.g. Blender) will not translate back to the original model, if I need to do any changes there.... 😞

The right click does not bring me to an option that says flip along, rather in the scroll down choices it shows intersect faces, soften/smooth edges and Zoom selection. As this is a tool I need I would love some help.

When I hover over my online free sketchup tool bar, such as the pencil or arc tool, I do not see two other hidden tools as described in your video, nor when I click the primary tools. How do I make these additional tools visible? Also, is there a help button somewhere in this version?

First, I am new to SketchUp. I think the SketchUp School videos are the best I've found on KZbin so far. I want to start by repeating the example 'How To Create a Floor Plan with SketchUp Free (7 EASY Steps)' on my computer, but I miss finding 'field measurements' for the example.
