A main issue I have is regarding the "NEED" part, cause the answer is always yes, and while u'd think that would make one happy cause feeling needed is nice sure, it's always as a tool to help solve their issues, or cause their time is deemed too important to solve that but them knowing I got gaming as a hobbie, my free time is deemed less valuable than their free time. Obv, I took steps to distance myself from some of these ppl but the real tragedy is the realization that came after: that even some of the supposedly closest ppl in your life - your family & relatives - can be similar. Like, at some point you can't keep cutting ppl off , yet they're like this too... talk about being caught between a rock & a hard place. The only answer I could come up with so far was deception: always make myself seem busier than I actually am.
