Female choice is a brutal pill to swallow if you are sub5. Since women only go for the highest tier of man they can acquire, this would exclude a certain percentage of the male population at the bottom of this hierarchy from mating, or even developing intimate relationships with women. You have to live with the brutal fact that you are simply not deserving of passing on your genes and receiving love from the opposite sex, solely on the basis of your genetics. Imagine being born on this earth and being predisposed to never get a taste of certain fundamental human experiences. At that point, are you even human? Such a cruel fate. By the way BPA, do you think this fate could be avoided in the future through eugenics? Or for all eternity will there be some people who are destined to suffer purely due to their standing in the genetic hierarchy?
@blackpillacademy
@blackpillacademy 4 күн бұрын
That is a great summary of the male predicament in general, and the particularly cruel fate for sub5 men. Eugenics could certainly alleviate suffering caused by deleterious alleles, but even if all genetic flaws were eliminated, female hypergamy would still create deselected men (eg, the target of selection may simply shift from indicators of good genes to traits that appeal to female sensory biases). Perhaps a combination of eugenics and arranged marriage could work, although the latter is even more unacceptable than the former in Western cultures.

I had been waiting for one of your videos to drop. Nothing quite addresses the complexities of modern societal dynamics with the precision, or the genuine insight that you bring. In the near future, these deep-seated biases in human attraction and mate selection are likely to amplify social divides rather than diminish them. As technology integrates more intimately with daily life, our preferences and prejudices will find themselves reflected and reinforced in new, unanticipated ways. Algorithms used in dating apps and social platforms, designed to optimize "compatibility," will increasingly cater to subconscious desires rather than conscious values. Such tools will refine our preferences, narrowing our choices to those who meet inherited criteria of attraction, and in doing so, they may further entrench social hierarchies based on antiquated standards. I am also now completely convinced that shunned men are mostly not at fault. Historically, female choice has driven mate selection, a form of gatekeeping ingrained deeply into societal structures and often celebrated as empowerment. Men, however, are met with ridicule and labels, "incels," “entitled”, if they vocalize their own dissatisfaction with these dynamics or are seen as struggling within them. For men, to express discontent over attraction-based rejection is to challenge a system that implicitly tolerates female selectiveness while penalizing male desire with shame. This asymmetry leaves the status quo undisturbed and men silent in their exclusion. As society clings to the façade of fairness, it becomes increasingly evident that such ideals are but a thin veneer over the chaotic forces that govern human nature. Discontent will simmer among those marginalized by instinctual preferences, but rather than sparking meaningful change, this unrest may spiral into more despair. Cultural backlash will not dismantle the superficial beauty standards that bind us; instead, it will reinforce the underlying biases that have existed since time immemorial. The conflict between our technological advancements and primal instincts reveals the futility of seeking equality in a world where desire reigns supreme. Ultimately, humanity's struggle is not a quest for understanding but a relentless dance with its own inherent contradictions, leaving us to grapple with the absurdity of existence, where meaning is elusive and our instincts dictate the terms of our engagement. What do you think?
@sulimanthemagnificent4893
@sulimanthemagnificent4893 21 күн бұрын
“ Ultimately, humanity's struggle is not a quest for understanding but a relentless dance with its own inherent contradictions” Hence the goal of every religion, instead of fixating “inwards” we fixated *inwards* That is, we focus on that which makes us *human* our ability reason and resist (or reject) desire. Every religion, from Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Roman and Greek Paganism, Confucianism and Taoism, all of them fundamentally strive for the same things, enabling the right and good and forbidding the wrong and unjust. That’s my opinion anyway.
@blackpillacademy
@blackpillacademy 20 күн бұрын
@RobertHouse-m9h Thank you for the kind words about my content. Your own assessment of future trends is incisive and beautifully written. I share your view that new technologies will accelerate the dissolution of existing social structures, and, in the process, exacerbate the various crises afflicting the West. Within an atomized milieu, Balkanization along ethno-religious lines seems less far-fetched than it once did, as people revert back to more traditional forms of identity. For those who embrace modernity, I think the gender war will become a pivotal fault line, as both sexes seek to outsource the functions historically provided by the other. Indeed, the government already acts as a substitute husband for women, and new technologies could potentially fill the void for lonely men. The irony is that, owing to the mismatch between modern society and our ancestral environment, the primitive instincts that once guaranteed our survival are now an existential threat for the species at large. Even if we avoid a devastating inter-civilizational conflict, the immediate gratification provided by supernormal stimuli is inimical to community building and child-rearing.

This is a pretty reductionist "logic" applied to the subject. It is much more complex than that. There are just factors that signal genetic fitness and they reign absolute; variations are expected, but the rule is even more. A potential mate whos both, physically and neurologically fit is always prefereable. The ugly and fat w who has too high standards case is much more on psychological phenomenon than mating strategy; such phenomenon is widely recognized as a byproduct of artificially driven mating.

@@Brightyssta A challenger seeks a debate about the commonality of this particular behaviour and if it is culturally induced. Good points were made. The subject is more complicated. Genetically having too high standards is counterproductive, while the western culture(s) promote such behaviour and the digital socialization increases the extend of it even further. But wasn't the drive to act in this manner always there? The amplifiers are undeniably huge factors. But did the individual's drive to have kids who lack it's weaknesses change in any form?

That is a good suggestion. I will definitely cover Geoffrey Miller’s theory of the ornamental mind, which I think sheds light on the looks versus personality debate. In short, women select for both physical and mental fitness indicators that are proxies for genetic quality. But in order to function as a reliable fitness indicator, these traits have to be costly, which means only a small minority of men can effectively display them.

@@blackpillacademy If you will make this clip happen, then you may also make one about the psychological phenomena that prevent people from acknoledging these facts. Hence if you explain that the female collective of any other mammal than humans has no interest in procreating with the overwhelming majority of males by default, it will lead to extinction. But as soon you extend this conclusion to humans, people's approval will crumble in real time. Coping must be inherited but also culturally inducted.

I think that most unappealing and highly genetically defective men are more likely to engage in love, since they'been blinded by feelings that the person who they might be in love with is not willing to feel the same for these men. due to obvious reasons. love isn't about being a "good person" because there's no any exact way to determine who's really "good" and who isn't, it's rather about being genetically suitable for the other person.

That is an excellent summary of the current crisis in the West. I think Spengler’s cyclical view of history provides a good framework for contextualising the rise and fall of civilizations (including our own). Even if one doesn’t literally believe that cultures are organisms, the analogy with plants and seasons is instructive. Likewise, the adjective Faustian perfectly captures the essence of Western culture with its universalist pretensions and theology of progress. In the words of Spengler: optimism is cowardice. A main issue I have is regarding the "NEED" part, cause the answer is always yes, and while u'd think that would make one happy cause feeling needed is nice sure, it's always as a tool to help solve their issues, or cause their time is deemed too important to solve that but them knowing I got gaming as a hobbie, my free time is deemed less valuable than their free time. Obv, I took steps to distance myself from some of these ppl but the real tragedy is the realization that came after: that even some of the supposedly closest ppl in your life - your family & relatives - can be similar. Like, at some point you can't keep cutting ppl off , yet they're like this too... talk about being caught between a rock & a hard place. The only answer I could come up with so far was deception: always make myself seem busier than I actually am. I don't like having to be dishonest with supposedly close ppl, but if your existence to them is also treating you like a tool , then this is the lesser evil. Altho' it does keep things into a status quo , just more tolerable , mode - and I'm still left thinking of a better solution. But ya, pretty depressing to think about.

Health is a luxury of genetics predisposed to what begets it and being promoted by the tribe. The greatest folly of those who discuss this topic is the reality of why health exists, and not simply proclaiming how it's obtained. The same can be said about nearly everything people put others down for. Of course, doing so would be an act of forfeiting their own success, and therefore, a deeply maladaptive and unhealthy thing on their part. It's only through a form of rigid group selection one may be cared about or care for another while actively seeing a gain and not a loss. While typing the above, I was reminded of something someone I was having a conversation with today said. She, a graduate economist, remarked, and I say this from memory, that only those with hundreds of millions of dollars will likely see any real prospects going forward, and that this is generally understood across various disciplines. The need for that rigid group selection at a local level is more important now than ever, but we're also at a peak of being unable to have any meager semblance of it.
