Pretty neat how good the level off then climb again was shown with the wingtip and upper wing parallel with the horizon, I might use that clip as a teaching aid. CFIAM JOE Lake Havasu Arizona.

320km/h? Snail pace ;) Fastest it went was in low pass/shallow dive about 465km/h Far cry from this thing actual to speed, that at this altitude should be somewhat of 650km/h But it's a grandpa (plane) gota take it easy on it. Shame that they can no longer be produced (wwii planes in general) Would love to see one pushing it to the limits, in some crazy 800km/h dive cutting air with loud cry and whistle after pull off. But well, can experience that only in games, sadly.

Nice! Only thing I would recommend is to test that the engine will not quit during idle WITH the carb heat activated.

Charging cords strung everywhere, iPads not secured properly, phones not in airplane mode, no checklist usage, no fire extinguisher visible, this operation is a disaster waiting to happen!

Yeah 👍👍👍 but they did a 5 minutes warm up and checked instruments. Plus gps is critical to finding out the destinations even when flying.

It's watching videos like that that make me regret following *one* of the pieces of my grandfather's advice... I did the whole college+university thing. Struggled for 6.5 years to finish my diploma and degree, made some great telecom/IT industry connections and had a job secured before I even graduated at a great starting salary, benefits, pension etc. But I yearned to fly helicopters (my uncle -- long divorced out of the family -- had a heli company and 4 helicopters. 2x B206, 1x B206-L, and an AS350. I got heli rides ALL the time as a kid). Despite ~40k of student debt (not bad for Canadian graduate), I was willing to go up to Helicopters Canada and rack up even more debt and become a heli pilot. Grandpa, a retired and quite success and wise business man said I have all this education and an amazing job already, why throw it away by changing careers? And since that day I've regretted not following my dream. Now, 15++ years later, I with a start up, got in at the ground level when it was brand new, growing the company as an executive, with real potential that I can soon afford to do some introductory lessons, and find out FOR REAL--- "Will I love flying a helicopter? Or did I just enjoy riding in one as a kid?" More content please!

Try to adapt a plane parachute like modern small aircrafts, so you wont loose that piece of jewerly in case of an engine fail.

Natürlich kaut er einen Kaugummi und macht dabei den Mund nicht zu. Ekelhaft. Der isst bestimmt auch mit offenem Mund. Eine BF109 ist viel schöner als eine amerikanische P51.

I met a guy in Mansfield Missouri back in 94 or 95. Last name was Morgan. Long story short. He owned 2 p51 mustangs. And a crop dusting business. Said he had 10,000 hours under 100 feet. He was clost to 80 then. Anyway he said he was the first person to fly a P-51D in combat. Refered to it as a resonance aircraft. The first D mistion he claimed was to fly at 400 feet full power over the enemy while taking pictures. He said it was the scariest thing he ever did. Claimed thats what hooked him on low and fast. Said his kids hated flying. Told me to come by and he would make me a pilot. He was about 90 miles away and i was living on $50 a week after bills. Couldn't afford the gas. Really wish i could have got to know him. I have always assumed he was honest. Seemed very honest and not prone to brag. Would love to know if its true and if so more details.
