What a nice yarn is that, a lovely color and a lovely friend!!! I think it would look amazing as a Zipper Sweater from Petite Knit, maybe at a split hem there? I love the Zipper sweater, it's such a practical knit!

Also working on the salty days sweater. Making an xs for my daughter. ☺️

I happen to be making a Salty Days in the same Little Fox yarn. Body length might be an issue for me too, since I have a short torso... but I've decided the sweater looks cute bloused over in the way Veronika wears it, and I think it's cute that way on you too. (A fitted waist is probably the intention, since she goes down so many needle sizes for the ribbing.) But if you don't feel good in it that way, don't force it!

society would change overnight if more people read the book Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki

My salty days sleeves are long too. I’m working to finish them now for Christmas Eve. I barely have any bottom ribbing. May should have shortened the sleeve portion and had longer ribbing. 🤷🏼♀️

If I were you I would consider a white or black for your blanket. The neons will really pop against either colour! 😍 🤍💚🤍🧡🤍🩷🤍💙🤍💜🤍 🖤💚🖤🧡🖤🩷🖤💙🖤💜🖤

Love hearing your thought process about the blanket and sweater fixing too! I hope fixing the sleeves will help you like it more! 💜

Thinking about the yarn you are looking for to join your blocks, what about a light colored yarn that has specks or flecks of all the colors on your blocks ??
@CaseyfuriouslyknitsКүн бұрын
For the joining yarn, could you get the skein you liked at Bliss and get started on joining your squares and have Deb order more of that color?

Omg I practically had a heart attack when you cut into that sleeve!

PS. I think you might enjoy trying a pattern with hip shaping! I believe Rebecca/CreaBea has a couple, and WhatLydiaMakes too 💚

When you said you needed to block your squares, I was yelling at the screen, you need a blocking board! I didn’t think that my comment would be read. (I was behind at the time.) I have a blanket subscription that uses blocks and it works great!

I love your sweater, and kutovakika's design is amazing. I have not tried steeking, but would that be and option to add splits in the ribbing of the body? 🤔

Black would look nice xxx

I thought you would snip and graft to shorten the sleeves.

Split hem, especially if you want to cover your lower back and upper butt. Cropped hems drive me insane as do 3/4 sleeves.
@TammyLynn-z7dКүн бұрын
Why don't you cut your sleeve where you want to join. Unravel what you need to remove and graft the parts back together. Andrea, of Fruity Knitting, has a tutorial a few months back. Best wishes, Merry Christmas!

Why don't you just rip out half the ribbing on the sleeves?
