I havent seen a RED lady bug in decades. We are over run with these orange ones that bite and smell bad when you have to vaccuum their billions of dead corpses out your laundry room. What happened to the red ladybugs that I grew up with? I miss the red ones😢

Roast at 350, 50 mins for anyone wondering. This pie was very good, I used his crust recipe too and I liked it but would half the salt next time. Delicious pie! 😊

Mine didn’t come out very orangey either but I kept rolling and once I finished it looked like a typical pumpkin pie. 👍

Great video! The slug you're showcasing is actually a type of Tiger Slug. These fascinating creatures don't feed on plant leaves; instead, they prey on other plant-damaging slugs, helping to naturally control garden pests. Slugs and snails have made their way up the wall into hanging baskets!! Uh uh! I have seen them on the window panes!! Interesting to see the underside of the slug in action!! 🤪

I heard that planting onions amongst the food crops deters slugs, just trying it. The salt works on slugs, poured onto them they just die. Not sure if it would work on soil as it would just dissolve!

Put two layers of 2x4 garden fencing above your berries. The first one about 3 inches above ground level and the second around 6 inches. Train the plant thru the fence as they mature and the fencing will support the berries. Keep the fencing narrow enough to reach under from either side. Note: The critters will only get to half of your fruit.

I do not even kill them indoors no matter which species....as they all aggressively consume; aphids, all manner of mites like dust mites, and many other pests. I do miss seeing the blood red German variety I'd play with decades ago, but the harmonia aka asian variety are most aggressive hunters of each type.

That's smart, I'd spray paint them green ..look better in the garden

Ladybugs eat the aphids off your plants so they are good to have in a garden

Slugs are a bit brainless, and are as attracted to the smell of yeast just as much as they are to beer. So drink the beer, and make a yeast-scented soup of a spoonful of flour, a little sugar and some tepid water, mix to a thin paste and add some fresh or dried yeast. Leave in a warm place and when it's foaming and smelling nicely of yeast, use it, diluted, in your beer traps. Keep a little aside before you dilute it, feed with more flour and lukewarm water and you can keep it going for a while (like a sourdough culture) so you won't need to keep buying more yeast (or beer).

Pls post again I need tips. I have ladybugs in my house. My mom passed recently and she used to call me her ladybug. it was only a few months ago that she passed. After she passed my house became infested with ladybugs. I need to keep them alive. I feed them honey water and occasionally fruit flies. If you have any tips on what else I can do pls tell me. They're too cute to die.

How many pounds of pumkin you used to get the 15oz of puree?
@ohger111 ай бұрын
I've made pies from decoration Halloween varieties and except for them holding more water than sugar varieties, they make great pies. Drain the pumpkin in a colander after first bake or simmer in a saucepan to reduce the water before assembling the pie.

I watched one of your videos describing how to make pumpkin pie. It was three years old and I noticed you only had 1360 subscribers. The other thing I noticed was it was almost exactly the same as Joshua Weissman's video on how to make pumpkin pie from four years ago. Still it kind bothered me that you had so few subscribers after three years and I wondered why. When I clicked on your channel and saw the title of this video I immediately knew what had happened. You should have stuck with cooking videos.
