I have a question if anyone could help me I just got done building my yfz 450 2004 top end and I timed it and stuff ran good as soon as I was done road it for about a day started it the next and it lost a bunch of power and starts to bog out and cut out when I push the thumb throttle in about 1/3 of the way it makes it backfire bad two if someone could help I’d really appreciate it

I kinda wish I had a 2 seater to kinda hot rod up. I'd feel weird doing this to my 3 seater family ski, that I use for towing tubers and skiers. I'd feel bad for the toweee, listening to my little honda civic motor brapping away. Lol.

Howdy. Im working on a 2013 can am commander 800 with the rotax engine. The head gaskets were leaking so my buddy wanted to replace them. I did this by loosening up the tensioners, removing the cam sprocket and using a bungy i hung the chain up so it wouldn't drop down. I thought i did a good job but putting it back together im having issue. it won't even fire. Now when i set my timing on the front head the 2 slashes on timing gear are even with head except the are on the top of the gear and not the bottom and i can roll the engine around and around and every time it will only line up with marks on top. The back head is the same way. Any suggestions on what i can do to get it right. Can i get the front head set up top dead center and then remove timing gear and roll cam around so the slashes will be even to head on the bottom as i keep seeing and same as back? I would appreciate any help on this. Thank you

Do the flat spots on the cams of cylinder 1 front and cylinder 2 rear both face towards the intake valves? Also, according to the service manual timing process the number 2 rear cylinder is timed first then engine rotated counterclockwise 280° to number 1?

Which direction did you put the arrow on the piston. I am rebuilding one right now and I know the arrow always goes to the exhaust but in the manual it says point it to the intake. Is this correct???

Nice work! I had a 1988 Honda 300 FOURTRAX 4X4 for 20 years. I never had to adjust the clutch once. I bought new with a snow plow for $4,000.00. I sold it after 20 years for $2,000.00 on eBay. My feedback was better than described by the buyer. Nice work on your part. I see you have universal knowledge, and it looks like it comes naturally. Don't ever add a motor flush to a wet clutch engine! That's a good way to get some failing clutch disc's very soon! OIL ONLY!

Does the water jacket release water into the pipe from the turbo coolant passages? Just wondering if I need to make it a wet sleeve or just let the slots vent into the pipe

Hey Ryan. Great video. I'm from Plaquemines parish and i have a 2014 610 mule. I bought it right after Isaac. it runs great but recently (I hunt in alabama) it is struggling to get up the hills. It's not starving for gas (sputtering, backfiring or running rough) its just losing all of it power before i can get to the top and might have to go into low gear to finish the hill. also i kinda smell like an oil leak but no oil anywhere. i read some things talking about the crankcase vent. do you have nay ideas? thanks Kenny

He seems to know his shit on this rebuild and he just fixed my problem showing the way to assemble the torque converter I had my first needle bearing backwards and the inner Washer on the inside of the shaft on the inside of the needle bearing backwards. This Guy helped me BIG TIME. ALL I HAD WAS FIRST GEAR AND REVERCE. THUMBS UP
