Can not rate Eggers.. you just can't.. BUT, you can rate/rank Nosferatu's films.. 1922, 1979, 2024/5 AND, 2000's Shadow of the Vampire, where Willem Dafoe plays Nosferatu in the film.

Eggers the LEEEEGEND! Great call about ranking Nosferatu films Sunny that would have been interesting to do in the leadup to this movie! Next on my list I'd really love to watch Coppola's take on it with Dracula in 1992 (technically Dracula not Nosferatu) but Shadow of the Vampire looks awesome too, John Malkovich alongside Willem looks AWESOME!

In Classic Who the Doctor never ever cried. RTD changed the Doctor and humanised him. The Classic Doctors also never flirted with anyone. This made it more convincing that the Doctor was an alien. RTD is to blame and Moffat with the Christmas special as you suggest would have been influenced by RTD to keep the Doctor over emotional. The plot also makes the Doctor look incompetent due to the fact that humans are tampering with the time lines and he doesn’t care about the consequences. In the past the Doctor would be looking to close that hotel down. Disney Who for me is a bad parody. I agree with your criticisms.
@hessflix20 күн бұрын
Thanks for your comment mate I really appreciate what you said and I really agree! I feel like even Eccleston or Tennant era Doctors would have tried to shut down the time hotel, the whole thing is really frustrating how it is now! Having watched the classic series (although only as a kid growing up) I didn’t mind the humanisation in the early reboot years 2005 - 2010 but from then on it got really frustrating, and I can see how for people growing up with Classic WHO it would be even more annoying!). I hope one day the show gets a better direction with a show runner who respects the original vision of the character much more. Well said mate!
@PaulRichards-vz4pl20 күн бұрын
@ You’re welcome and thank you for your comments. I can only hope that new writers will eventually take over who will respect what worked and give us good science fiction stories. It needs to go back to a more sinister tone with a more stoic resilient Doctor.

@@hessflix yeah I think the concepts of the shows or movies I’ve seen seem to be that good a character being a little too animated doesn’t really bother me. But I’ve only seen mainstream shows. I bet a poor show with characters like that would just be unbearable lol… crypto Probably was pushed a little hard to be honest but there was reasons for it. Don’t forget there was quite a few people affected by crypto in the show. It’s to show the breakdown of modern society financially. The guy has lost everything he has and is risking his life to put more into it lol. Also, I think the contestants weren’t randomly chosen, too much of a coincidence there is At least 3 or 4 people we know of that was affected by lee myung gi’s crypto advice…it can’t be coincidence these people that subscribed to him and took his advice were also selected. I think contestants are deliberatly chosen to cause drama for the viewing pleasure of the wealthy, that’s why crypto was quite heavy. I actually didn’t mind the second season, I do think they could of done more with it but it’s worthy of a third season I think
