Not considering that all your sighs were kinda annoying, also the tutorial seems to be too basic and approximate, the result is not professional. Also I think you're lacking of a bit of basic tools, like for example the lazo tool. Bad tutorial overall.

This was a good tutorial. I struggled with the not-so-intuitive nature of this tool. I still am having some difficulty in properly controlling the EFFECT of 2 point perspective - in that at times the desired perspective effect is not for it to be so extreme but way more subtle. Adjusting the parameters of the grid to be less dramatic in its effect are not as easily achieved; rather, it requires a lot of trial and error to get the effect just right. I will scour the KZbin universe further to find videos that delve a bit deeper into adjustments for different perspective effects.

SPENT a day going thought some Illustrator Perspective Grid videos. Here the strength is in applying a checker board to the grid. Nice. Too bad you did not think of looking at Vermeer. He applies checkerboards to the floor in paintings that are mostly 1-point perspective.

The control, shift, alt isn't working for me. It just moves those three boxes to the other artboard, not copy and paste

Does anyone here know if it's possible to place one object on multiple planes at the same time? For example, say I wanted to place a star-shaped object on the corner of a 2 or 3 point perspective grid. Do I have to split the object and place each piece on each plane, or is there a way to place the object and attach it to both the left and right planes simultaneously (in other words, Illustrator does the work of wrapping the object around the corner)?

If I design a artwork in Illustrator CMYK mode and the images are saved in RGB format from Photoshop and brought to Illustrator, does the images automatically convert to CMYK.

Hi Erin, thanks for posting. I find that some of these steps aren't really explained and maybe this isn't really for beginners. Scale is one tool that gives me fits because once I transform and need to change it, the default scale is already set and then I'm in trouble. I have a lot to learn! LOL

Shift doesn't work. That makes everything move in 45° angles.
