"In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" Chapter 60 (Test) • This chapter also has verses in which all or part of the revelations may not apply to the present time, but our "LORD" sent them to the people 1400 years ago, and they were applicable then. However, the complete verses of all the chapters exist in the original versions, reminding us of our ancestors' character and faith in different eras. 13:39 (Thunder) "God, the Omniscient, erases whatever "His Majesty" wills from the Quran or writes in it. The original copy will remain with "His Highness." 60:1 (Test) O you who believe! Don't make friendships with "My" enemies and your enemies! You express friendship and affection towards them while they disbelieve in the truth that has come to you. They are persecuting this Messenger and you because of your faith in "God, the Lord of the Throne," who is the "LORD" of you all, and they force you to leave your cities and lands. If you mobilize in "My" cause (Seeking and establishing justice) and in search of "My" mercy and pleasure, then how can you secretly express affection towards them? I am fully aware of what you hide or reveal. Those of you who do such a thing have indeed gone astray! 60:2 (Test) If they dominate you, they will be your enemies, harm you, speak bitterly, and want you to return to disbelief! 60:3 (Test) On the Day of Resurrection, neither your relatives nor your offspring will benefit you," and "His Majesty" will separate you. God, the Almighty," is watching everything you do. 60:4 (Test) There is an excellent example for you in the life of Ibrahim and those who were with him when they said to their idolatrous people: "We seek distance from you and disbelieve in what you claim to worship other than "God, the King of the Worlds." We renounce you, and enmity and hatred have surfaced between you and us, indefinitely, until you believe in "God, the Most Merciful," eternal enmity has been revealed between you and us! Ibrahim's words to his father were because of the promise he made to him, and he said, I will ask for your forgiveness but know that I do not have any power from the Lord, the King of the heavens and the earth, and I do not have any authority to forgive you! "Lord! "we rely on "Your Excellency," and we return to "You," and finally, we return to "Your Excellency." 60:5 (Test) O LORD!" Do not let us be seduced by those who disbelieve and forgive us. Our "LORD," you are indeed the Mighty and Wise." 60:6 (Test) It is true in the life of Ibrahim and his followers; there is an example of goodness for those who believe in "God, the Most Merciful" and the Last Day. But whoever turns away, "God, the LORD of the Throne," is not in need, Most Praiseworthy. 60:7 (Test) I hope that "God, the Most Merciful," will establish a bond of friendship between you and those with whom you are enmity. "God, the King of the Worlds," is Almighty, Forgiving, and Merciful. • Verses 8 and 9 in this chapter remind us of ISIS, Taliban, other terrorist groups, and the Satanic Republic of Iran. These groups only use the name of "Submission" (Islam) for their evil deeds and benefits. They do not believe in the Qur'an's revelations and the thoughtful decrees of our "LORD," nor the Hereafter. Hostilities of these groups with other believing religions and humanity have no place in the Quran. Some verses belong to 1400 years ago and are meant for that era when most communities were illiterate, superstitious, and ignorant infidels. Therefore, those people were very vulnerable, and criminal and corrupt religious leaders made up some false quotations and laws and fed them to their people in the name of "God, the Only" and "Submission" (Islam). These hypocritical clergymen do not even fully implement any of the commands of the "LORD." • The following verses and rulings, which support social justice in the Sunnah of our "LORD," have been regularly broken and denied by the arrogant clergies and their misguided followers. 60:8 (The Test) "God the Most Just" doesn't prohibit you from being kind and just towards those who do not fight you because of religion or expel you from your homes. Indeed, "God the wisest," cherishes those who act justly. 60:9 (The Test) "God, the Most Compassionate" only you from befriending those who fought against you over your religion and expelled you from your homes or helped to drive you out, and whoever makes friends with them is cruel and oppressor. • In verse 10 below, some essential points will lead us to a reasonable conclusion: • Note that contrary to the distortions and misinterpretations of the Quran by opponents and the polytheist religious leaders and scholars, our "LORD" never issued a death sentence for the unbelievers ever. Indeed, as we go through this chapter, we will see how our "LORD" commands Muhammad and his men to reimburse the expenses and dowries of idolatrous husbands whose wives escape to free themselves from their oppression. Therefore, Muhammad and his companions had to test and make sure of the women's righteous beliefs and reimburse their dowries back to their husbands before they married them. 60:10 (The Test) O you who believe! When women immigrate with faith and seek refuge with you, test them. "God, the Lord of the Throne," is aware of their beliefs. Once you establish that they are believers, you shall not return them to the disbelievers. Refund the dowries that the disbelievers have paid. You do not sin by marrying them so long as you pay them their dowries. If your wives want to join them, demand what you have spent from the disbelievers, and they may demand whatever they have spent from you. This rule is the command of "God, the King of the Worlds." "His Majesty judges between you and "God the Most Omnipotent," is the All-Knowing, Resourceful. 60:11 (The Test) If any of your wives go to the disbelievers and you are forced to chase them, give those whose wives have gone away the equivalent of what they had spent. So, don't overdo it and be wary of "God, the King of Resurrection," in whom you believe. 60:12 (The Test) O prophet! If believing women come to you, pledging allegiance to you on condition that they will not associate anything with "God, the King of Resurrection," steal, commit adultery, kill their children, lie under oath as to parenthood, or disobey you in anything righteous, accept their allegiance and ask "God, the Almighty," for forgiveness for them. Indeed, "God, the King of the Worlds," is Forgiving and Merciful. 60:13 (The Test) = 6 + 13 = 19 O you who believe! Don't make friends with a polytheist group (Talib, ISIS, Shiites, and Sunnis) on whom "God, the Most Merciful" has become angry. They have despaired of the Hereafter, just as the unbelievers have despaired of the occupants of the graves. Pure praise to "God, King of the Universe."
