Hello, if you still have it about, I’d love to know the origin of the pencil case shown quite early in the video (blue soft pouch, with zipper all the way across the top.) On seeing it I was thrusted back in time to primary school in the late 80s, and remembered the one I used to own, filled with sticky ink cartridges, pencil shavings, and Hubba Bubba. I’d love to have that thing back again, but I can’t seem to find anything quite like it. But yours is very similar. Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks for the video, for all of them in fact.

I bought a China copy as a test. If it’s great, I’ll shift to the pilot. I usually use space pens when I’m traveling, but I would love to use a fountain pen. Space pens are always there for you. I go camping and backpacking. Sometimes. I am hovering between a world I consider to be nurd, and nature. Nature can kill you. So can nurd. 😄

I'm so glad to see you knitting again! I am so sorry about the moth problems and the other issues you addressed in another video. Good for you for not stopping, though! I crochet but want to get back into knitting, as I did that as a teen. Speaking of, I read *The Count of Monte Cristo* during high school in the 2000s and you're making me consider re-reading it! I don't remember it being such a chunky book, but I think my copy was hardback so perhaps that's why? Or maybe because I was also reading the bigger Harry Potter books at that time as well. I'll have to find out if my Mom still has a copy. I'm team break in a book/janky spine as I view it the same way as I view patina on leather and brass, seasoning on cast iron and stoneware, etc. That said, having clean book spines is also very appealing so I understand the opposite opinion as well. Anyway, enough rambling from me and I hope you are feeling better! Take care.

When you were discussing your thoughts on executing a read along, I prefer using Goodreads to track my reading for the simplicity, but the newer reading app, Fable, is great for its “book club” feature. You can discuss your thoughts based on chapter so there is no possibility of spoilers. If you decide to make one I would for sure read along with you!!!

Hi Alicia! If you loved Piranesi you need to read Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrel! It’s such an engrossing story. :) It’s my favourite by her. I do enjoy Murakami, but I need to space out his books since they tend to touch very similar themes.

You need to have red ceder pieces of wood everywhere among your stash and wool clothes. And drop red ceder oil on those pieces to reinforce the scent a little now and then. That keeps my stash, hand knits and so on safe, and has for 20 years.

Sorry your brownie didn’t turn out the way you wanted. Part of the brownie texture is created by the size and shape of pan you used. A loaf pan is too deep to allow the brownie texture to develop. I would expect the sugar content changes the texture as well but I’m sure there’s some decent low sugar recipes that have the right texture when cooked properly :)
