Vacations are great. I hope to use my Big Agnes tent for the second time this summer.

The natural world moves those of us who are unafraid of a wilderness adventure. We see life through a different lens and it's a gift we've been given by our creator. I'm 65 years old, been doing the camping/travel adventure thing since the age of 20. I still enjoy getting out there. Exploring the wild lands we have in the west is priceless and soul serving.

Something to note is they talk about seasoning your tent. I think the wetness that you mentioned is more from condensation? Than any leaking. But it helps to season the tent before taking it out on adventures. Seasoning can be done with just water from what I have seen. But they do sell sprays. Personally not into that. Also getting off the ground helps. We use an 8 x 10 rug in ours and have cots on top of those. I got a disc o tent (bunk bed style cots) that are heavy. I got the regular large ones as with a set of 2 in there (4 beds) it'll give you the best fitment from my measurements. The XL is a bit too big. In any case love the adventures. Thank you for sharing and look forward to more camping trips from you guys!

I was really touched to see you get emotional when talking about your mother's support. Family and friends that we support, and who support us, are one of the most precious things in life. (= Thanks for the video

It's very relaxing watching your Utah camping videos. One suggestion. Regardless of how dry the tent is when you pack it up, be sure to unpack it when you get home and let it dry out again for at least 24 hours.

Thank you for sharing your life and your heart, Alicia. I wish for you more of these adventures and the fruition of your dream of living this lifestyle full time. 💛

It’s wonderful that you have such deep clarity on what feeds your soul. If you had more time I’m sure that tent would have seen you through the storms in good shape - your Mom sure knows you well!! I hope her thoughtful gift will be featured in more outdoor adventures!

This was so nice to watch with my Saturday morning tea (time difference). I think I told you before, but I really enjoyed seeing the typical "dessert" views with snow! It looks like a completely different landscape. Sweet Fig, I have never seen a Greyhound feel so at home and happy in snow! There is nothing like that crunch of fresh snow... I am sure you are going to have many more adventures with that tent! ❤

This was such a wonderful video! I’ve been following along on this whole series of this camping trip (& your videos in general for a while now!) and it looks like such an incredible time. Well done! Proud of you both. In my Springbar tent I use a rug in the middle of the floor. It may be 4 feet x 6 feet or so. Saves some wear on the floor and is very comfortable on the feet. Added luxury. You can just shake it out then hose it off when you have an opportunity. Of course you will have to find room in the car for it! Thanks for taking us along.

Lovely video in so many ways: views, snippets of your life (reading aloud!) ... I have some experience with the juxtaposition of home/on the road life. Crazy balance.

Wait, ground javelina? People eat those things? I’ve never seen that in any store. Finally saw my first one close to u of a near euclid & 6th, did a double take as I didn’t expect to see one in that area.

It’s actually very good! If processed correctly and the scent glands are avoided. We grind ours up with pork and organ meats. It’s very tasty!
