The trek is selling for $1700 on sale normally $2700 (both bikes look very similar except for price! What bike would you recommend?

is this method applicable to all kind of hubs ? i have a 4 pawl HG hub wanting to change it or upgrade it to a 6 pawl HG hub , would that be possible ?

Curious were you able to just use the same chain? I’m upgrading from a sram GX cable derailleur to this same kit you got. Was wondering if I would need a new chain just in case the old one wasn’t long enough.
