Interesting. This video is 4 years old, how did it hold? Any issues you spotted with this solution? Did you apply doublesided tape to edges of your shape or everywhere?

Sweet vid! One year later, how is it holding up? Did a lot of dirt and debris get caught up there with the slight lift from the tape? Any scratches to the frame?

Hi Oliver, come across your channel researching the Fezzari Abajo Peak. I’ve just ordered mine this week, it’s gonna be a long wait. I’m currently riding a Diamondback hard tail. I also live in the Houston area & mostly ride Memorial Park. After watching this video I was wondering if you are planning on adding an actual bash guard to protect your chainring also? The Fezzari’s frame has the mounting tabs already welded on. I also like the video covering the upgrade on the 6 pawl freehub, I’ll have to add that to my list of items to get for the Abajo. Keep the good videos coming & be safe.

Hi Oliver. Great vids. My Abajo is on order with a 4 month wait. Can’t wait. Will be doing your kydex Project. Question, how did the tape hold up? Any issues with the protector coming off? Rattling? Did you do a paint peel test? Thanks for the feedback and keep up the great vids.

I’m sure you’ll love the bike. In regards to the protector, I’ve had zero issues. No rattle, strong hold with the tape. I removed it once and no issues with the paint. Now, all tapes are different so I recommend you try yours on a small area first. Thanks for the comment and ride safe !

@@slavikamex it's going to be more like six months. I ordered mine in October and it's getting shipped out soon. It's definitely on the later side of the 20-25 week timeline.

@@destinseese34 haha. Yup, thanks. Every time I touch base with then it seems to move a back a couple weeks. Looking at mid May right now. I’m okay with it though. I work in supply chain and certainly understand the current challenges in the shipping industry. Ughhh. Hope you enjoy yours!
