I love everything about this, including the typical Hollywood Choral Sound of the early musical movies.

George Foreman grills really are superior. I dunno they cook the burgers so good its unreal. Propane grill just cant do it like a foreman and its the truth.

I'm no fan/enemy of propane; I use charcoal, but Hank is on to something. They are just elevated flatirons and aren't the easiest thing to clean.

They could NEVER make this show today. All those awful clothes they wore were burned at the stake in 1986.

All Hank had to do was say he would carry the grill and he could’ve accomplished his original goal and avoided a Thrilla in Manila remix. 😂

The Criswell/McGlinn performances and recordings from this period were seen as revelations. This song has been distorted belief in revivals, brassy and jazzy and loud. This is how it was conceived and should be done.

This show was good, overall - but it often suffered from clunky writing. A lot of scenes could've been a lot funner if they had gone the right way. But all too often they didn't go the right way, so the comedy fell short.Too many scenes felt awkward and oddly disappointing. Lots of missed opportunities. But still a very good show.

ok, what the heck was Herb doing in the opening scene, taping two pencils together?? then writing something? I never saw this episode that i remember?? I guess the record room was a first and only time showing this? and hanging John Lennon's photo, I guess, was a tribute in a sense a year later. " I cant afford you, and I cant afford to be seen with you..." LOL!! ok watching till the end, Loni's confession of maybe having another personality, that has been burned in my head as a young boy seeing it.. so i have seen before..
