first step,disconnect the battery,because many lines are always hot.second,just buy a proper(not the chaepo type for safety reasons) universal laptop multi charger with many kinds of connectors,and have it your arsenal for testing and using whatever laptop you get your hands on.

Assuming you mean the image sensor and focus mechanism with "lens"? Unless there is a short there on power or data lines, it should not stop it from booting. In most cases, the screen will turn on and give an error message of some sorts if that part of the camera is damaged. It's not that different from a gaming console, it has power lines, fuses, data lines, some sort of BIOS in a flash or something like that. The power consumption is slightly worrying, I am guessing it is trying to boot and hanging somewhere, it should boot and then go into standby/power off if no buttons are pressed. If nothing better gets suggested, I would reball the BGAs after tracing power lines to find all fuses.

I’m wondering if you would like my Xbox one s it randomly stopped working after I stopped playing on it. I think it is a hard drive issue because I was able to play games and it could crash about 20 seconds later. Now the Xbox logo flashes twice and turns off.
