In the very first version of Cubase Audio I used on the Atari Falcon you used to be able to drag the waveform to fit the timeline . Can you no longer do this in Cubase ?

I just bought the whole beginner's course. Here is why: He speaks in a normal speed and repeats himself on what he is doing. He is not assuming you know where things are and what they are for. He shows you the screen slow enough that you can follow along. I absolutely hate tutorials that fly by, and you are like What? What was that? And you have to re-wind or slow down KZbin. So being that I have NEVER used a DAW, and failed as a drummer in my 20s, this series is helping me navigate CUBASE ARTIST 13 in a methodical step by step manner. So, if you are just starting out, or you are frustrated with nagging confusion, you may find like I did that this course could work for you too. Note, if there is a change from 12 to 13, he does spit screen to make sure there is no confusion depending on the version you are using. Lastly, I really appreciate that the course is in all zip files, and I can play the videos locally on my machine and not log into one more website. :-) Now if I can just come up with a professional name like eka "Slip Tacks" ;-) Onward and upward!

I can't find the Beat Detetcton Option in C Pro 13

Can someone help me. I downloaded Cubase Elements AI 13 that comes with my Zoom Recorder. It has Groove Agent but for some reason I can't drag and drop anything into a track using my keypad. Having come over to Cubase from Sonar (not by choice), I've found it very aggravating trying to figure out how Cubase does things. You get used to a certain workflow and then you have to start from scratch with something new and it's a headache. These tutorials are a HUGE help!!

Thank you! This is very useful, and I really like that you went over all the settings. I initially just wanted to learn to correct sloppy performances, but that Create Markers option could be really useful for labeling chords.

where is Lesson 4

I think someone at Cubase might've fudged up, with the chord editor. That F --> maj --> 7 is a DOMINANT 7th chord (F7). To get the maj7 chord, I selected F --> maj --> j7 (Fmaj7). Hope that helps. Thanks for these excellent tutorials
