I would love to see an aluminum version! Edit: I use mine as a jogging/ work out pistol, it’s so lightweight and holds over 30rds with a spare mag

Ruger’s engineers/designers, have the talent and could have brought something original and truly innovative to the table, yet they decided to clone Glock’s older Gen3 design instead. Updating it with features common in today’s striker-fired guns doesn’t make it new. This isn’t innovation. This is clearly a move to cash in on expired patents, and the true brilliance remains with Gaston Glock, not Ruger.

I trust Magpul to offer different grip module colors and configurations, but I hope Ruger has the sense to do the same with the slides.

After swapping out grip modules you should install an armor plate and check the striker to sear engagement to make sure you have proper engagement to ensure a safe, properly functioning firearm.

Have you measured all the grip dimensions to see how in compared with a gen 4/5 Glock in width,length, trigger reach etc..... ? Can't find anyone who has.

A Glock 26 size frame would be seriously nice...pic rail and plate...Something Glock continues to refuse the market out of some reason of superiority and not listening to the market.

At the Glock armorer course the instructor told me they only make changes that are requested by law enforcement or military customers. They couldn't care less what civilians want.

Too cumbersome to change. Should've been something like the SIG FCU. In this day and age, things should be simpler not cumbersome
@ChaohsiangChenКүн бұрын
Cumbersome?
@keithangstadt495021 сағат бұрын
Maybe the only way they could have done a Sig style FCU was to do it the way Sig does it. They may have been worried about following the Sig design too closely because the patents are still in place.

You gonna change it everyday? 🤨

You aren't switching chassis in the middle of a firefight my guy. I'm someone who will potentially swap frequently if they do a PDW chassis and I'm fine with this.

I like the two-tone look. I really like the grip angle. I thought the one I saw felt good in my hand. I'd like to see a G17 sized frame and/or something with a little more palm swell. I may have to get one of these for myself.

Apex quality trigger is a perfect description of the trigger. I don’t normally want a TS on most of my pistols. But with this little guy the TS is the right choice for me. It gives me options. And options are good.

For years many 1911 users would spend extra money to "upgraded" to the 2 part guide rods. Now, when some folks buy a 1911 with it, they want to "down grade" to the old style. Do whatever makes you happy. I just leave in whatever style it came with...but remember to change out the old style recoil springs every 3,500 rounds.

Bought one yesterday from Cabela's where I work $409.99 minus 7% discount. Have already changed slide ,mag release and slide lock with extended ones off of my gen 3 G23, perfect fit as well as my G19 mags. Caution the slide lock spring once you remove the slide lock will easily fall out if you turn gun upside down. Took me a minute to find it.

Glock is a gunfighters gun. As one who has shot and been shot, i dont want my glocks changing! I carried 1911s back when thats what we did. It took a while to realize the grip angle gives you point of aim when you punch the gun out when someone is shooting at you. As i said ... a gunfighter's gun.
