This master seems a very nice person, I was so moved when I saw him teach black and white students himself rather than allowed his assistant to teach them 😊. I went to Shifu Yan Zi temple in London but unfortunately each time I went, I wasn't lucky to train with him personally but I got lucky to train with Shifu Yan lei. Anyway I love traditional broadsword shaolin but I stopped taking my Da dao in the park because it attracts the attention of the police 🚓🚔 😅 they think there is a crazy black man out there brandishing a real sword 🗡️⚔️ and I don't want to be tasered so I only practice Dahong Quan etc. in public 😅

The staff is my favourite weapon. The art in the way it performs, the simplicity of being a single piece of a tree, and the defensive, merciful, non-lethal nature of it. Incredible.

My teacher took me and my friends to learn this one today (Monday, September 25th, 2023). We had been pratcting Fu Xin Chuan for the last weeks. It has been challenging (I come from Shotokan Karate) but I'm enjoying a lot! I will start studying this video right away! My thanks! 🙏🏿

I was fortunate to learn U Lan Gun from Grandmaster C. C. Liu who learned for over 20 years from the robe and bowl Supreme Grandmaster Wang Chueh Jyne. I am still scratching the surface.
