As soon as I seen that peace of crap van with those ryobi tools I would tell you to get off my property. Your clearly not a professional.

You are not properly using the strap wrench so you are wasting a lot of time wrapping the rubber strap around the hole saw.

Use toggle bolts, I switched from drywall anchors after a while because they will fail.

I used toggle bolts, too. So much more secure.

What about payments? I can’t seem to find a way to pay at the store checkout with my home depot consumer credit card without having the physical card on me. It’s super annoying because I have financing on my credit card and want to be able to put all my Home Depot purchases on that but I end up using an alternate credit card every time because I don’t keep physical cards on me. I’m also unable to add the Home Depot credit card to Apple Pay either.

You are missing a pipe wrench and a crescent wrench. Other than that, I like to keep a headlamp in mine along with the flashlight. And electrical tape and wire nuts.

doing good with what you have. respect. colleague is a GC and builds out tool trucks from scratch. his motto is ver batum, build it like the city will inspect it. all considerations included, safety, efficiency, accessibility, meticulous, organized, irrefutably built by a master craftsman. he actually uses his personal truck as a meeting room with clients while discussing terms agreements and prices. when the client is sitting on one of those buckets having coffee on a workbench in the center isle, they are looking around at the magnificence of the truck. just knowing that the work done on their property will be on that level and they cut the checks! attention to detail got him from a handyman to a GC building from the ground up in NYC. Wishing you all the best with your craft!

About 10 years ago I was doing my first flip, and didn’t really know what I was doing. I would buy all kinds of things at HD, some in excessive quantities, and then return what I didn’t use. My mistake was not keeping my receipts. I took the unused items back and got store credit, which I then used to buy other items, so I thought they wouldn’t care. Wrong! One day I showed up with a box full of stuff and was denied. They gave me a phone number to call for an explanation. When I called, I was told that HD had contracted with a company that tracks returns, and once you hit a certain limit, you are banned from returning anything for, if I remember correctly, 90 days. I don’t recall if the threshold was reached by the number of returns, the frequency, or the dollar amount. So lesson learned, I started keeping my receipts until I eventually got an HD credit card. As to the stuff they wouldn’t accept, I just waited 91 days and then got store credit, lol.
