Didn't work with my Arma gold edition. I've spent a day watching tutorials but no luck. I fixed the Openal32.dll issue but still, no game sounds. I hope someone can help me with this.

The company I bought the Head unit from (SYGAV) sent it to me after I reached out to them about some info in the gauge cluster not showing. The kit came with one, but for some reason I had to swap it out. I think you can get this decoder from Aliexpress, it comes with the harness. www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806273679098.html?src=google&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa

I did not order the back up camera. This head unit connects directly in to the existing stock camera. It's basically plug and play. However, if your car does not have a backup camera, there is a version with a camera module

It should, but I have seen threads on online forums a while back discussing issues connecting and reading on certain VW cars. You should do a bit more research on your model and its OBDII protocol capabilities first

Hi, I not very familiar with Mriscoc but the first thing I would do is to update the firmware to the latest version, Mriscoc firmware is relatively fresh, it's constantly being improved

How does this unit hold up over time?? Any issues with heat?? I'd like to know before purchasing it.

It's holding up strong. I made two more follow up videos on this head unit, you should check them out (links in description). I would recommend it if it wasn't for the price. It's also running Android 5.1.1 which isn't that bad on a head unit, but I have seen some running Android 13 for way less expensive but I haven't tested them, no idea what's the catch

The major heat generators are the CPU and GPU, but a few chips always get hot so there are also in contact with the heat-sink. It isn't that bad

It's a DRV8302 chip, I attempted to replace it myself twice and failed. I made videos about that. Ended up getting it replaced by a pro I met on the esk8 forum

@YvonSmart so did you put 1 layer of the epoxy to cover up the glass dent and then after that dried, you then glued the mirror button

I think it's going to work, but the side buttons will stay on the further side, unless the English model uses a different variant ECM that requires the new head unit to come with a different COM decoder programmed for it.
