This is a beautiful composition. It starts off with a melody that reminds me of rough times and when it picks up it gives me hope. It's a soul wrenching peace with a happy ending. Check out the extended version.

My grandfather turns 100 next week. Was an RAF pilot in WW2 and this shall be a major part of the tribute through the photos. Thank you Helen Jane Long for your brilliance.

Thank you nespresso. My contemporary classical doesn't extend beyond this and Einaudi's 'nefeli' but hopefully I can discover some more. This is a wonderfully emotive piece of music. Shame the comments are turned off on the extended version. I wouldn't have thought there would be too many bad ones.
