This song is awesome. I've heard a lot of songs off of her album "Porcelain" while listening on Pandora, and they are all amazing. She is a fantastic piano player, and as a writer needing great background music, I thank you. Her music plays with great emotion, which is a quality in music that not all musicians can achieve. Please keep playing piano Helen Jane Long, your music is amazing and I am grateful to know it.

It passed 2 years since I wrote a comment about this song. Almost 2 years later I listen to this song again and my comment is still the same: exceptional musician, exceptional piece of music. :)

This song I love because it brings out the essence of life at a time when life was full of joy. When this song plays I think about my deceased father, family and friends who I miss and love very much. Thanks Helen!

When I first heard this song on Pandora, I thought someone did a cover for Radioactive by Imagine Dragons. Seriously... try singing the lyrics to general tune of this song. It fits pretty well.

(Starts at 12 seconds.) Gray ashes, black soot Instead of pullin', now I push Didn't believe but, now they should Cause I'm doin things now that I never thought I would, hell I never thought I could until I looked inside the mirror, a fiiirebird replaced the man-it all became clear. And I'm looking back now and I'm holding back the tears, opportunities I missed and all the fuckin' wasted years, All because I let these people prey upon my deepest fears, truly grateful for the struggle, for shifting up a gear, grateful for the ones I love and grateful to those that I hold dear, cause I'm a fuckin' phoenix now and those nearby are gettin' seared.

This song sounds just like a pop song that came out within the last year or so. I can't think of the words, but I'm fairly certain a guy sings it. Its been driving me crazy trying to think of the song. It has a real melancholy sound to it. Does anyone have any idea what the song might be?
