The only reason ref didn’t give ✌️ points cause they didn’t stay standing for 3 sec , but that was a takedown! But since Cole came from a sweep movement, was considered Cole still trying to finish the sweep … this kid will make history very strong very fast very precise movements ! Just learned a variation from the head lock attack transition to the guilhotine to the leg entry 🫶🏼, I am working on this transitions this week here and since I am very heavy usually ppl don’t tripod when I lock the guilhotina… so apparently there a way they can defend and i learned the transition to the legs with you !! Thanks for that 😅

Keep the pans in Flórida is killing the PAN’s! Both gi and no-gi events had low or no crowds in the stands. Bring it back to New York/New Jersey as before the pandemic, it was always a packed gym.

You're a pro Jits guy. Would be dope if you started doing takedowns. Flopping to the ass is lame. Especially a double ass flop.

@AahSol12 күн бұрын
If you understand Jiu Jitsu you’d know that guard pulling is part of the game. Regardless if the match starts standing it will boil down to someone passing and someone playing guard so I see know problem with guard players.

Never cross your feet lol.... thats the worst advice any bjj coach can give isn't it, i agree with you. if you dont cross your legs/ feet and they lift or stack you then most likely you will lost the arm bar. Crossing feet is clearly essential in some positions. I too always laugh when i hear people say "dont cross your feet" lol, i understand why they say it, because you dont get the same knee to knee squeeze but most of the time thats not the finishing details any ways. Well done Cole

@brandonwalsh768113 күн бұрын
Wasn't 3 seconds standing so it doesn't count as a take down since the position was not solidified as a standing position. It was initiated from guard and because it was a really close attempt to attack by Cole, it should not be punished ending up in the same position as the sequence started in, that's also why he was awarded an advantage.
