I honestly didn’t even think of taking the injectors out and priming it to find a leaking injector, as stupid as that sounds, I’ve never thought of that

My code were p0410 and the codes for the smog pump. Did the fuse, relay, secondary pump and the car still acting up. Now I'm going to change the alternator. But the current issue is I just started it, and there's a delay from the turn to the initial start and when switched off the engine continues running or a few seconds to turn off. The battery is good. !2.5 when off and 14.30-50 when on. Any input, suggestions?

I'm having trouble understanding how to use/convert the 3/8 Torque wrench to do this job. Do I have the wrong size? The specs show 95-108 nm (70-80 lbs ft) but those numbers aren't on the wrench. I found out how the math works 12 in = 1 ft, 120 = 10... I still don't know how that works though. haha Anyone? Thanks
@HayesMobileAutoRepair5 күн бұрын
@@co.creator.productions you don’t need a torque wrench to do this job for starters.. It just has to be tight.. not as tight as you were tighten a lug nut on a tire, just tight. Don’t break getting nuts or bolts. It doesn’t have to be that tight. . lol 😂. I don’t know what you’re looking at on your 3/8 ratchet so I can’t help you with the math. Just tighten everything.

I agree de-pin the OE connector to match the separate OE positive and negative terminal the way it will fit the replacement fuel pump. Basically , they separated the + and - terminals from being next to each other with the fuel pump and brilliantly I might add you did likewise with the OE connector. Heat shrink butt connectors I would use maybe. You did the way I would never de-pin anything .Thanks for the video and no cutting OE wiring always a smart move if possible.😎
@HayesMobileAutoRepair11 күн бұрын
yes, well said... heat shrink should have been done instead of those crappy butt connectors.. i sure i didnt have any at that time..

When I heard the motor turning over it was obvious the engine has low compression on one or more cylinders. The oil trick will obviously increase compression and increase the chances of it starting but the issue of why there is low compression needs to be investigated further.

Until one day it just quit and I took the fuses apart and I found it a place that fuse and haven't had a problem since but it is crazy how fuse can ark and work
