Just so you know I’m So glad I found your channel. I’m fairly new to Poshmark, started out with getting rid of things in our closets so I can get a feel for how it works and I’m definitely interested in going further. You are so helpful with explaining things and your channel is amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone interested in reselling. Thank you for all that you do!

This video brought back flashbacks. I’m a newish (1 year) reseller and I did exactly this in the beginning. I was addicted to others success and would try to implement. This was causing me to fail. I have almost completed stopped watching what sold videos and am focusing more on my own closet, sales, etc. I would like to schedule a closet review with you. Do you have a link to sign up?

I like the gesture of the postcards but as a buyer I have never kept one of them and always throw them out so I have never invested in them. I only do the large thank you stickers. I would be interested in knowing what everyone does with packaging and if packaging makes a difference on if someone is a return customer. I see some people do not do anything and others go above and beyond with gift wrapping. I personally do not like it if someone just puts the item in a box without bagging or wrapping in tissue paper so I always put my items in clear bags and find that to be a better investment that postcards.

I just recently ran out of my business cards with my Poshmark closet printed on them. I too started thinking, why am I doing this, so I stopped. I now have thank you stickers I purchased on Amazon and have been using those. The things I have purchased on Poshmark have come with a hand written thank you note and I think oh how nice, but I probably will never purchase from that person again. I have also received purchases with flower stickers on the outside box as well as on the plastic bag and those made me think of a kindergartners art project. Regardless, I'm now a thank you sticker seller.

I have been a posh buyer for years, as a buyer all I care about is a clean nicely packaged item. I don’t need all the extra notes and freebies, no offense, but most of it is just junk I don’t want. 6 weeks ago I finally opened my own closet, my sales and feedback have been great. I thank people when they initially purchase, I mail the same or next day, and I package my items nicely, I think that is all people really want🤷‍♀️❤️

I was a buyer before I started reselling and although the hand written thank you cards and extra little gifts are a kind gesture, they never made me buy again from someone. I don't remember or made notes about who sent those things. So when I started reselling I never did those. It seemed like a waste of money. I did wrap items in nice tissue paper and still sometimes do on smaller items. But that doesn't always work for bigger things. If the item I receive from someone is packaged well, clean, and I got a good deal that's what metters. So I do the same when selling.

I think presentation and first impressions are very important. I no longer write thank you cards but I have personalized thank you stickers that I put on the reusable bag I pack the item in. I also include a tiny bag with a few “thank you” mints(the ones like you get at Chick fil A). I have thousands of 5 star reviews and buyer’s comment frequently about the nice packaging and sweet treat.

Thank you for the video, I personally used to send personalized thank you card on my first year in Poshmark and I’d add little gifts here and there depending on how much the rose was. On my second year I stopped doing that and I decided to purchase tissue paper and thank you stickers. Mya buyers received their items in a clear bag wrapped in tissue paper and a sticker in the middle. I also put a thank you on the polymers/ boxes and I also send them a thank you note and update them that I’ve shipped their order and that’s all for now.

No only one offer at a time and it won't send the same offer again it must be higher the next time. So it prevents spamming.

Then something is off... The market decides the price. Maybe you are paying too much for items, maybe you are pricing too high, maybe they aren't worth while items, plus you don't have to take their offers. Many variables here.

I've always wondered, do you include the potential discounts that you will offer to the likes in the original listing price? 1. As a buyer I feel like getting a good deal if I am offered a discount 2. Buyers do expect some sort of discounts, hardly anyone buys at the listed price 3. Even if the item is listed at the lowest, buyers still either send offers or expect offers from sellers at even a lower price So that's why I always include about 20% for the offers that I send all the likes, but that makes my listing at a higher price than some other listings, which may not attract as many attentions... so that's always a struggle and I don't have the right answer for. What is your recommendation?

Price on the high side of the comps then offer consistent, progressive and aggressive offers! That's my main philosophy that is working!

I have a question, do you not delist and relist items? I do that alot but im also loosing the likes maybe its not a good idea to do that until after all the waterfall sent offers go out
@RebeccaTheReseller
@RebeccaTheReseller 19 күн бұрын
Right! You can't relist too soon is all. I relist on a rotating basis so every day about 10 items and its takes a few months to get through the whole closet so that gives me time for the waterfall to work for a while first before it gets relisted.
@PamelaSocorro

@@RebeccaTheReseller THANK YOU so much for your work! I have used your videos and tools (from Etsy shop) to fast track the learning curve. So grateful! I am stuck on this issue of relisting, however. I am trying to figure out if I need to develop a system or tracker of some sort in order to relist on Posh. I'm not sure how to track what is at its lowest offer. How do you organize your relisting to make sure you are doing the items that have reached your floor price? I have been stuck on this issue for way too long! lol!

How can you send out 20% discounts on items that have already had a 30% discount sent?
@bethprince6148
@bethprince6148 19 күн бұрын
Exactly my question for everyone who does the waterfalls…,anyone who likes the item after the larger discounts start won’t get the 20% offer and I get an error notice that my offer didn’t go out because it wasn’t the lowest I had sent on that item.
