Omg, I believe that’s what happened to me? Although I never got an email but I did notice an item I had disappeared. I was frozen in PM and reached out and was shut down for about a week. Being new I didn’t know if I had been hacked? Used a photo or word not approved? Their response was a glitch on their system was their response. I’m apprehensive about what to post. I use stock photos in 95% of my listings on PM. I’ve only had 1 listing taken down for Dolls Kill shoes. I had a listing taken down because I used the word blade in skate shoes. However it was taken down 2 months after I sold the item 😅 I don’t usually sell the brands that sellers have noted as being flagged. I have a pair of Babaton wool trousers I need to list. I’m going to crop the photo to show only the pants, possibly change the background with photoroom, and make a copy of the listing until it sells. We’ll see how it goes 😅

Dolls Kill is famous for being flagged. I believe they have people that checks all reselling platforms for use of their stock photos.

Yes to the other options / alternatives for stock photos bc I am honestly sick of using them but my photography skills aren’t the best.

Well you should always have your own photos and they should be decent as a professional seller in my opinion but the stock photos are a bonus or an AI photo.

That might work, I can't say for sure. I think that the stock photo has the most impact on buyer as the 1st one though, so its a trade off.

You will need to find out from PM. Maybe there was something else in the listing that violated PM rules? I'm not sure.

I suggest not using stock for big brands like LV and coach. I've actually seen LV listings get taken down a few times.

Another option is to get permission from the company to use their photos. For the products I make, I don't care if my customers use my photos when reselling my products.

Yes please to the AI option for stock photos. I recently had a listing removed for a stock photo. Brand is Khaite. I have never seen anyone mention this brand as a no-no for stock photos. Live and learn. Trying to move away from stock photos anyway. I do think this is going to be one a bigger issue with more and more brands.
