Thanks for your thorough thoughts about this, I asked about this before and you make some great points. I recently went through my closet and removed about 250 just meh items that had no likers for over a year and donated them to free up space and optimize my shares. It felt good

I am retired and being reselling 2 years. I have 250 items to sell and would like to sell more, but I just don't have the money to buy more inventory. Also, am 70 years old and a small inventory is easier for me to handle. As you pointed out, everyone has a different business model, and I've learned not to compare myself to other resellers. Awesome! Yes, do your own thing. But you should be able to invest in more inventory if you are selling. Just set aside a portion of profits to keep reinvesting and listing new items. I’ve done well at about 850-1K. I also post on eBay and having over 1K I had to get the upgraded store to avoid listing fees. It felt like trying to source for that closet size I was picking up lower quality items just to fill the gap and at that point it wasn’t worth the extra $30 a month in eBay store cost. So many personal variables!

@@RebeccaTheReseller I am older and my husband died 6 weeks ago. I am reselling to make ends meet. I was able to keep listing if only one item a day. I now want and need to go into the 800 or thousand item category. I have many items here that I bought up. Good brands and average should I list as much as I able to list per day or average it out?
