Is there some online fabric shop with specialty fabrics for drindls , that you can recommend? 😊
@THISISKACHI4 сағат бұрын
Usually you can find them seasonally in any German/bavarian online shop! But the fabrics I used are not specifically some for Dirndl, so they can be found anywhere.

Oh wooow this is a blast from the past!! I know you from way back in the day, you probably remember me (hopefully) as your sister and I were best friends for the majority of our childhood! Wild!! I have seen your instagram a few years ago and never could find it again, and tonight my YT apparently wanted me to find your channel! Well done, I love it all and I just can't believe you are the same person I remember you as :) I'd love to hear from you and what your family has been up to! All the love :)

I'm so excited to see this video! I just bought a 1960's knitting machine (currently cleaning out all the old oil, yuck). I'm definitely going to play around making numbered samples like you have.

Thanks for all these tips! Love this jacket and I’ll probably buy your pattern (my fourth 😋 one) even if it’s a way to advance project for me 🤓 but you learn by trying 😋 keep up the good work 👏🏻

Hello, I love the skirt, I am making a wedding gown and using silk Georgette gown for the skirt (Empire waist) I wondered if you could tell me how many metres your skirt took? I have 10 metres at 147cm wide.
@THISISKACHI4 күн бұрын
Hi! I think that should be enough - I’m not sure anymore how much I used. But it was not more than 10m!
@annfulcher4074 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for your super fast reply 🙂 I think I purchased your pattern on Etsy, but cannot find it in my documents, I have never cut a circular skirt for an adult, so I am a bit nervous to say the least. It has to be gathered and your tutorial is the only one I can find that shows how to do it.

Im thinking cushion covers, pillow cases, bedsheets, shorts, an informal jacket (preferably a bomber jacket), back of a corset dress

If I wanted to do this how much SA do I add to the waistline of my pattern? Would it be 1” (elastic width) + 1” (elastic folded over) + 3/8” (SA)?
