Here’s a stupid question that I’ve been curious to ask. Did the Bosworth Battlefield or any other battfield from nobility every once again play host to battle such as in WW2????

Hate to tell the English this but Henry V may have been the King of England but he was Welsh, born at Monmouth Castle in Gwent, and was known to voice his pride at being a Welshman (indeed, as he does in Shakespeare’s play about him). And no, Monmouthshire has never in its entire history been in England. Its courts were once administered from England for a time but that’s it. Monmouthshire is just the modern name for the ancient Welsh kingdom of Gwent.

After english succeses, the english army started to loose battles as well. Especialy, when they sieged french fortresses. Finaly after more than 100 years mutual killing the final result was a kind of draw,so there was not real winner. Finaly the english forces left France, and the situation was the same like in the beginning.

Henry born in Wales, of Norman-French-Flemish-Spanish parentage (a whole line with many born in France and of European not English parentage). King of land stolen from the native Britons/Welsh. Died in France. ("I am a Welshman" he says in Shakespeare's Henry V.) Welsh archers were renowned and vital in the battle. Oh and your pronunciation of Agincourt/Azincourt is the worst i've heard. But interesting presentation.

this animation helps show what it could have looked like but there are a few pedantic issues 1. sallets were rather rare at this time, mostly anachronistic to wear what sallets did exist with a bevor 2. this may be excused due to effort needed but the field was freshly ploued and turned into swamp by the horsemen 3. chivalry misrepresented, chivalry was not the urge to 1v1 people of similar social status but the responsibility to serve your land well, the french force was barely coherent and most wanted to get at henrys banner and henry himself so charged for him, combined with the torn up flanks and stakes and the mass of tree roots in the flanks, combined with the urge to stay with your comrades for safety rather than potentially running on yor own at the archers made the majority of heavy infantry from the franks charge the middle as for piercing plate armour (oh what a can of worms i will open up) arrows can reliably take people out of a fight when going at maille, either in gaps or as separate wider armour and of the strength of bow used they could at times go through quite a bit when hitting the sides or back overall, places like the cuirass and helmet would be very difficult to pierce however, some sources can be misleading, vauge or spoken by people not actually there

Funny fact the archers took their trousers off some were running around bareassed because they believed it would speed them up. I believe the battlefield was slightly more uphill and there were trees closer either side of the open field.

Too many words were pronounced incorrectly in this video, which ruined it for me. Please have someone check your videos to ensure that you don't come off as an uneducated fool; it's not difficult to find the correct pronunciation of words on the internet.

I've spent two months working on this video I've written the script my self, made the graphics, the level, the system for automated responses, basically everything you see on screen. THEN I decided to outsource the script to a narrator that read the script within an hour or so and mispronounced the words.

Wasn't Richard the one who killed the rightful heirs the princes? Seems like a fitting end to Richard.

There are so many conflicting theories about this that we can't be sure. Some even suggested that the Princes weren't dead at all and were killed by Henry Tudor later. There is also the fact of the so called "pretenders" that were forced to confess that they weren't the princes after they were captured by Henry. So, who knows...

The battle actually started in the town. The supposed battle site is entirely guesswork. They don't know the actual location. There was a description of a castle on one side of the battle location. And that would make sense if the battle started in the town. The location local French claim the battle happened at, long lost remains of a good sized castle was found. The foundations and cellars were uncovered. They were being excavated. However, local thieves started robbing the site of artifacts found. So the French government put a stop to the work and demanded the site be re-buried.
